The Account and HR Executive will oversee the daily financial activities and human resources processes for RP Facilities Limited.

This position combines two key functions to uphold precise financial reporting, streamline payroll operations, maintain regulatory HR compliance, and foster high levels of employee engagement—all of which are essential to the company’s facilities management success.

Oversee and execute a comprehensive range of duties encompassing strategic planning, operational management, and team leadership, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives. Develop and implement policies, procedures, and performance metrics to enhance productivity, efficiency, and quality across all functions. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive innovation, resolve complex challenges, and foster a culture of continuous improvement. Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess progress, identify trends, and implement corrective actions as needed. Serve as a primary point of contact for stakeholders, maintaining clear communication, and providing timely updates on project status, risks, and milestones. Ensure adherence to regulatory compliance, industry standards, and internal guidelines while promoting a safe and inclusive work environment.

Accounting and Financial Management encompasses the oversight, analysis, and strategic handling of financial data, ensuring accurate reporting, compliance with regulations, and informed decision-making. This role involves managing budgets, forecasting financial performance, and optimizing resource allocation to support organizational objectives. Key responsibilities include maintaining general ledgers, reconciling accounts, and preparing financial statements in adherence to accounting standards. Proficiency in financial software, analytical skills, and a strong understanding of regulatory frameworks are essential. Additionally, the position requires effective communication to convey financial insights to stakeholders and contribute to long-term financial planning and risk management.

Maintain meticulous records of all daily financial transactions and petty cash to ensure accuracy and compliance.

Craft accurate client invoices without delay and pursue overdue receivables with determination until resolution.

The Accounts Payable team is responsible for validating vendor invoices, processing payments in a timely manner, and maintaining strong vendor relationships to ensure smooth financial transactions.

You will contribute to the compilation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.

Tax Compliance: Responsible for accurately preparing and submitting monthly statutory tax returns, including VAT, WHT, and PAYE, in strict adherence to local regulatory requirements.

Human Resources and Administration: Responsible for overseeing recruitment, employee relations, benefits administration, and compliance with labor laws while ensuring efficient operational support through facilities’ management, office administration, and policy implementation.

Responsibilities include calculating and disbursing monthly employee wages, meticulously monitoring deductions, bonuses, and pension contributions.

We are responsible for sourcing, evaluating, screening, interviewing, and successfully onboarding qualified candidates for both office-based and field-based roles across our facilities.

Maintains secure and current physical and digital employee records, encompassing contracts and leave tracking.

Employee Relations: Act as the main liaison for employees’ questions pertaining to organizational policies, benefits, and workplace-related concerns.

Ensure the company’s policies are in full compliance with applicable national labor laws and industrial standards at all times.

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field required. Minimum of five years’ experience in software development, with proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, or C++. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment. Excellent communication skills to articulate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders. Experience with Agile methodologies and version control systems like Git. Knowledge of cloud platforms, such as AWS or Azure, is a plus.

A minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree or Higher National Diploma (HND) in Accounting, Finance, Human Resources, or Business Administration is required.

With a minimum of two to four years of demonstrated expertise in managing combined accounting and human resources responsibilities, the ideal candidate will bring a strong foundation in both disciplines to the role.

Proficient in utilizing advanced accounting software solutions such as QuickBooks, Sage, or Zoho, along with a strong command of Microsoft Excel.

Demonstrates a solid grasp of Nigerian Labor Law, personal income tax regulations, and pension schemes.

Proficient organizational abilities, meticulous handling of confidential information, and effective communication skills are required.
