Our organization is in search of a meticulously organized and self-driven HR & Admin Officer to bolster our human resources and administrative operations.
The successful applicant will oversee employee records management, facilitate HR operations, assist with office administration tasks, and maintain seamless daily workflows.
Oversee the full spectrum of tasks associated with the role, ensuring all operational, administrative, and strategic objectives are met with precision and efficiency. Develop and implement policies, procedures, and best practices to optimize workflow, enhance productivity, and maintain compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements. Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to align goals, resolve challenges, and drive continuous improvement across all departments. Serve as a key liaison between leadership and staff, facilitating clear communication, fostering teamwork, and providing guidance to ensure cohesive execution of projects and initiatives. Monitor performance metrics, analyze data trends, and present actionable insights to senior management to inform decision-making and strategic planning. Lead training and development programs to enhance employee skills, ensure competency, and support professional growth within the organization.
Oversee the end-to-end management of recruitment initiatives, streamline onboarding procedures for new hires, and maintain accurate employee documentation in compliance with organizational policies and regulatory standards.
Ensure the precision and integrity of employee records and HR databases are upheld.
Facilitate performance management and employee engagement programs to drive organizational success and foster a positive workplace culture.
Provide support in the execution of human resources policies and procedures to ensure organizational compliance and operational efficiency.
Oversee the management of staff attendance, maintain accurate leave records, and prepare various HR-related reports as required.
Oversee general office administration tasks and maintain seamless office operations to support daily workflows.
Oversee the organization, maintenance, and retrieval of correspondence, filing systems, and documentation to ensure accuracy, accessibility, and compliance with established protocols.
Coordinate and oversee meetings, schedules, and administrative duties to ensure efficient workflow and seamless operations. Manage calendars, arrange appointments, and facilitate communication between teams to maintain productivity. Handle logistical arrangements, document preparation, and other administrative tasks to support organizational objectives.
Assist management by preparing and analyzing HR and administrative reports, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery to facilitate informed decision-making. Collaborate closely with HR and department heads to gather relevant data, compile key metrics, and present insights that support strategic initiatives. Maintain meticulous records, track compliance with organizational policies, and contribute to process improvements through detailed reporting and data-driven recommendations.
Ensure adherence to established company policies and all applicable regulatory standards.
Seeking a candidate who meets the following qualifications: a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; at least three years of hands-on experience in software development; proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, or C++; familiarity with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud; and strong problem-solving and analytical skills. Additionally, the ideal applicant will possess excellent communication abilities to collaborate effectively in a team-driven environment, a keen attention to detail to ensure high-quality deliverables, and the capacity to manage multiple tasks simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
A Bachelor’s Degree or Higher National Diploma (HND) in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a closely related discipline is required.
Seeking candidates with 1 to 3 years of professional experience in human resources and administrative operations.
Demonstrates a thorough understanding of human resources procedures and administrative functions, with expertise in managing essential operational tasks efficiently.
Highly developed organizational and time-management abilities are essential for this position.
Proven ability to articulate ideas clearly and persuasively in both written and spoken formats. Demonstrates strong proficiency in conveying complex information in an accessible manner to diverse audiences. Exhibits exceptional clarity and effectiveness in all professional interactions and documentation.
Proven expertise in utilizing the Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, is required.
Maintains strict confidentiality and handles sensitive information with professionalism and discretion at all times.
Individuals must demonstrate exceptional attention to detail and robust problem-solving capabilities.
Must be located in or near Baja, Lagos.
Must be prepared to commence work within two to three weeks of formal acceptance of the offer.
