JOB SUMMARY

The HSE & Quality Assurance Manager ensures organizational adherence to Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) standards while guaranteeing the delivery of high-quality products that satisfy regulatory, customer, and internal benchmarks. This position encompasses the design, execution, and oversight of HSE and QA systems, the conduction of audits, and the promotion of a robust safety and quality culture throughout all operational activities.

Oversee a range of critical duties to drive operational excellence and team performance, including strategic planning, resource allocation, and cross-departmental collaboration. Implement and monitor key performance indicators to evaluate progress against established objectives, ensuring alignment with organizational goals. Lead initiatives that enhance productivity, efficiency, and quality while fostering a culture of continuous improvement. Provide mentorship and coaching to team members, supporting their professional growth and development. Manage stakeholder relationships to maintain strong partnerships and address any concerns proactively. Quality Assurance (QA) professionals ensure products and services meet established standards through systematic testing, evaluation, and validation. They develop and execute test plans, identify defects, and work closely with development teams to resolve issues efficiently. Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and proficiency in QA methodologies are essential, along with experience in test automation tools and defect tracking systems. Responsibilities include documenting test cases, reporting bugs, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to enhance product quality and reliability.

Prior to project management or leadership experience is preferred. Knowledge of regulatory standards and compliance procedures is required. Candidates should demonstrate a proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

A bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Chemistry, Environmental Science, or a closely related discipline is required.

Professional certifications in Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) as well as Quality Management—such as ISO 9001 Lead Auditor, Six Sigma, or comparable credentials—are strongly preferred.

Requires a minimum of five years of hands-on experience in HSE and quality assurance management, ideally within manufacturing, polymer, or industrial environments.

With a track record of successfully integrating ISO standards, HSE regulations, and quality management systems, the ideal candidate will bring demonstrated expertise to the role.

Accomplished a proven history of minimizing workplace incidents while enhancing product quality standards.

• Minimum 5 years of experience in professional accounting or finance, with proficiency in financial reporting, budgeting, and cost analysis, as well as a strong grasp of GAAP standards and regulatory compliance.
• Proven ability to evaluate financial performance through variance analysis, trend identification, and benchmarking against industry metrics.
• Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, with keen attention to detail and a commitment to delivering accurate, timely reports.
• Collaborative mindset with excellent communication abilities to convey complex financial information to stakeholders at all levels.
• Strategic thinking to align financial strategies with broader organizational objectives.
• Proficient in ERP systems and advanced Excel, including pivot tables, LOOKUP, and financial modeling tools.
• Bachelor’s or higher degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field; CPA or equivalent certification preferred.

Demonstrates a comprehensive grasp of Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) regulations, risk management protocols, and quality assurance standards.

Proven capability to analyze complex situations, identify root causes, and implement effective solutions with a methodical and logical approach. Strong aptitude for evaluating data, weighing options, and making informed decisions to drive optimal outcomes.

Proven ability to lead, develop, and inspire teams through effective training and motivational strategies.

Demonstrates strong expertise in auditing, reporting, and HSE/QA software tools.

Exceptional proficiency in both communication and interpersonal interactions is essential.
