Sort and separate laundry items based on color, fabric composition, and specific washing instructions, while meticulously inspecting each piece for stains, signs of wear, or any unclaimed belongings.

Operate washing machines, dryers, and pressing/ironing equipment in strict accordance with fabric care instructions and manufacturer guidelines to ensure optimal garment quality and equipment performance.

Utilize suitable detergents, bleaches, and cleaning agents in precise quantities, and apply effective stain treatment methods to ensure thorough cleanliness.

Responsible for meticulously folding, pressing, and arranging completed garments or products into their final presentation, whether for storage, dispatch, or return to guests or customers.

Review finished laundry to ensure quality standards are met, performing rewashing or re-pressing tasks as required to maintain excellence.

Maintain meticulous documentation of received and processed items, systematically recording all pertinent details while ensuring adherence to any specific directives provided.

Maintain a pristine, well-organized laundry area that adheres to all health and safety regulations.

Conduct routine maintenance inspections on equipment and immediately communicate any malfunctions to the appropriate personnel.

Responsibilities include tracking laundry supply inventory levels and promptly informing the supervisor of any necessary restocking to ensure uninterrupted operations.

Exercise meticulous care when handling items to ensure their protection from loss, damage, or misplacement, while maintaining strict confidentiality where applicable.

Candidates must possess a minimum of five years of relevant experience in a comparable role, along with a bachelor’s degree in a related field. Proficiency in industry-standard software and tools is essential, and familiarity with current regulations and best practices is required. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills are necessary to fulfill the position effectively. The ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment is also expected.

Candidates are required to live close to Secular, IKEA, Leak, or Victoria Island.
