About the Role

A dynamic Gender and Youth Associate with a minimum of five years of experience is sought to spearhead and execute inclusion strategies. This role will champion transformative initiatives by embedding gender equity and youth empowerment as foundational elements of our organizational operations.

We are seeking a strategic professional to lead the creation and evaluation of product strategies. This role involves developing comprehensive product plans, conducting rigorous testing methodologies, and refining approaches based on performance insights. The ideal candidate will oversee the entire lifecycle of product strategy, from initial conception through implementation and iterative assessment, ensuring alignment with business objectives and market demands.

Evaluate the appeal of current offerings to young consumers and female demographics.

Identify alternative products and services that are not currently part of the country program yet fulfill three key criteria: first, they must be in demand among youth and women; second, they must align with the country strategy; and third, they must be available and feasible within the existing budget constraints.

Develop a product pipeline or assortment that effectively addresses the unique challenges and requirements of young consumers.

Seeking a candidate with a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field. Minimum of five years of experience in software development, preferably with expertise in full-stack development, cloud computing, and DevOps practices. Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, or JavaScript is required. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment are essential. A seasoned professional with more than five years of hands-on experience in youth and gender-focused programs is sought.

Earned a bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Sociology, Business Administration, or a comparable discipline.

Youth and gender programming experience is highly desirable.

Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, as well as Google Workspace applications such as Docs, Sheets, and Slides.

Proficient command of the English language is essential.

Demonstrates outstanding proficiency in both written and verbal communication.

Preferred commencement date for the role is flexible within the first quarter of the year.
