Job Summary
We are in search of an organized and personable Front Desk/Admin Officer to oversee reception duties and deliver administrative assistance. The preferred applicant will serve as the initial point of contact for visitors and contribute significantly to maintaining seamless office operations.
Oversee and execute critical operational duties encompassing strategic planning, resource allocation, and performance evaluation to ensure organizational objectives are met. Lead cross-functional teams, fostering collaboration and innovation while aligning individual goals with broader company targets. Develop and implement policies, procedures, and best practices to enhance efficiency, compliance, and risk management across departments. Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and financial metrics to drive data-driven decision-making and continuous improvement initiatives. Act as a liaison between senior leadership and staff, ensuring transparent communication and alignment on priorities, challenges, and opportunities. Manage stakeholder relationships, including clients, partners, and regulatory bodies, to uphold organizational reputation and foster long-term partnerships.
Greet visitors courteously and provide them with assistance in a polished, professional manner.
Professionally handle incoming phone calls, emails, and direct inquiries with appropriate responses and timely follow-ups.
Oversee the coordination of schedules, appointments, and the reservation of meeting spaces to ensure efficient use of organizational resources.
Oversee the inventory and replenishment of office supplies while performing a range of administrative duties to ensure efficient daily operations.
Provide administrative assistance to HR and management by managing documentation and maintaining organized filing systems.
Maintain a clean and inviting reception area to create a positive first impression for visitors and clients.
Requirements
A bachelor’s degree, Higher National Diploma (HND), or Ordinary National Diploma (OND) in business administration or a closely related discipline is required.
Extensive background in front desk operations or administrative positions is required.
Proficiency in communication and the ability to effectively engage with others are essential requirements for this position.
Demonstrates strong competency in utilizing Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and Outlook, to efficiently manage tasks and enhance productivity.
Demonstrated capability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously while maintaining clear priorities and meeting deadlines with efficiency.
Professional demeanor and a strong commitment to customer service are essential, both in interactions with visitors and colleagues.
