JOB SUMMARY
The Forklift Operators Supervisor will manage daily forklift operations in the factory and workshop settings, enforce adherence to safety standards, evaluate operator efficiency, and facilitate the seamless flow of materials throughout production units.
Oversee a comprehensive range of duties encompassing strategic planning, operational execution, and performance optimization to ensure organizational objectives are consistently met. Develop and implement policies, procedures, and best practices to enhance efficiency, compliance, and quality across all departments. Monitor key performance indicators to evaluate progress, identify areas for improvement, and drive data-driven decision-making. Foster collaboration among cross-functional teams to align efforts with company goals while maintaining a culture of accountability and innovation. Additionally, manage stakeholder relationships, including vendors, partners, and regulatory bodies, to uphold contractual obligations and foster mutually beneficial partnerships.
Oversee and manage the daily tasks and workflows of forklift operators to ensure efficient and safe operations.
Responsible for securely loading, unloading, stacking, and transporting materials while maintaining strict adherence to safety protocols throughout all operations.
Monitor all forklift operations and verify adherence to established maintenance schedules and procedures.
Ensure strict adherence to workplace health and safety protocols and regulations.
Perform regular inspections of forklifts to identify and document any operational faults, ensuring they are reported without delay.
Experienced professionals will provide comprehensive training and mentorship to forklift operators, ensuring adherence to industry-leading operational standards and safety protocols.
Work closely with workshop, production, and management teams to facilitate seamless operational workflows and maintain cohesive teamwork.
Oversee fuel and battery systems to maintain optimal operational efficiency and reliability.
REQUIREMENTS
A minimum of an Ordinary National Diploma (OND) or Senior Secondary School Certificate Examination (SSC) qualification is required.
Demonstrated success in supervisory positions, specifically as a forklift operator supervisor or in an equivalent capacity, is required.
A current forklift operator certification will be considered favorably.
Demonstrates exceptional ability to lead teams and convey ideas effectively through clear, persuasive communication.
Possesses a solid grasp of safety protocols relevant to workshop and manufacturing environments.
Capable of maintaining composure and productivity amidst high-pressure situations while efficiently coordinating the efforts of multiple operators.
