Job Summary

The Restaurant Supervisor will manage and coordinate a team of kitchen personnel, ensuring the efficient daily operations of the kitchen. Supervises and manages the workflow of personnel involved in food preparation, kitchen operations, pantry management, and storeroom administration, while also leveraging food surpluses and leftovers to optimize efficiency and reduce waste.

Oversee and execute core duties encompassing strategic planning, operational management, and team leadership to drive organizational objectives forward. Develop and implement policies, procedures, and workflows that enhance efficiency, compliance, and performance across departments. Foster a collaborative work environment by mentoring staff, delegating tasks appropriately, and promoting professional development opportunities. Responsibilities include overseeing the inventory management, storage protocols, and distribution processes for food items and supplies to ensure efficient and accurate handling. Assisting with the development of menu plans, allocating ingredients efficiently, and utilizing surplus food to minimize waste are key responsibilities of this role.

Manage food costs by determining the number of portions per batch to ensure efficient use of ingredients and minimize waste.

Seeking a candidate with a minimum of five years of progressive experience in a relevant field, along with a bachelor’s degree in a related discipline.
