Job Summary
The project accountant will oversee the integration of accounts into an accounting system, ensuring accuracy and adherence to established financial protocols.
We seek a candidate possessing a bachelor’s degree in a relevant field along with a minimum of three years of professional experience in a comparable role. Proficiency in industry-standard software and tools is essential, alongside strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities. Excellent communication and teamwork skills are also required to facilitate effective collaboration. The ideal applicant will demonstrate a commitment to continuous learning and professional development.
Candidates who meet the requirements should hold an HND or a Bachelor’s degree along with a minimum of four to five years of relevant professional experience.
Proficient in documenting a company’s trading activities and accurately transferring them into a system to establish an authentic trading position. This role involves analyzing Trial Balance, Balance Sheet, Profit and Loss statements, General Ledger, aged debtors reports, among others, and ensuring the completeness and accuracy of the full chart of accounts.
Proficiency in International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) is essential.
Proven capability to collaborate effectively with a team of accountants while also providing leadership and guidance to ensure optimal performance and adherence to financial standards.
