We are in search of a seasoned Plant & Equipment Manager to spearhead our Plant & Equipment Business Unit, responsible for directing a vast fleet of heavy construction machinery that underpins significant road and civil infrastructure initiatives.
This position entails a strategic leadership role, overseeing the complete responsibility for fleet operations, asset lifecycle management, maintenance strategy, equipment deployment, workshop performance, cost optimization, and overall profitability of the business unit.
The ideal candidate will oversee fleet availability, enhance asset utilization, boost maintenance reliability, and strategically manage equipment investments. Additionally, they will lead both workshop and field operations, fostering a culture of operational excellence to ensure successful project execution.
Seeking candidates with a minimum of three years of relevant professional experience in a similar role, preferably within the technology or finance sector. Applicants must hold a bachelor’s degree in a related field, such as computer science, business administration, or economics, and demonstrate proficiency in data analysis, project management, and strategic planning. Strong interpersonal and communication skills are essential, along with the ability to collaborate effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. Familiarity with industry-standard software and tools, as well as a commitment to continuous learning and professional development, is required.
Required educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Engineering (B.Eng.) or Higher National Diploma (HND) in Mechanical Engineering or a closely related field.
CORE registration is an essential prerequisite for this role.
With over fifteen years of hands-on experience in overseeing the operations of heavy construction machinery and plant facilities, you bring a proven track record of leadership and technical expertise to this role.
