This officer is responsible for managing sales within Nigeria’s security agencies, judiciary and court systems, federal and state universities, as well as specialist government institutions such as teaching hospitals, regulatory academies, and government-owned enterprises.
This territory presents significant deal complexity alongside extended procurement cycles, necessitating a commercially strategic executive rather than merely a relationship manager.
Responsibilities
Sales Mandate: We are tasked with serving Security Agencies, the Judiciary, and various Institutions, ensuring their operational and security needs are met with the highest standards of professionalism and reliability.
The organization seeks to collaborate with key institutions, including the Nigeria Police Force, Department of State Services (DSS), National Intelligence Agency (NIA), and the welfare and human resources departments of the Army, Navy, and Air Force. Additionally, the initiative aims to engage with the Federal and State High Courts, Appeal Courts, and the Supreme Court, as well as federal and state universities, polytechnics, federal teaching hospitals, and specialist medical institutions.
Requirements
A Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or an MBA with a specialization in Marketing is required, along with a minimum of eight years of experience in sales or commercial roles within Nigerian security agencies, the judiciary, universities, or specialized government institutions. Additionally, the candidate must demonstrate a proven track record of securing contracts valued at 50 million Naira or more, directly engaging with institutional leaders.
Established connections with at least three target institutions—spanning IG, DG, VC, or Chief Justice levels—must remain current within the past 18 months.
Proven capability to successfully manage intricate, politically charged institutional procurement procedures.
Proven expertise in negotiating and establishing commercial contracts, with the capability to develop, justify, and advocate for pricing frameworks at the Board level.
Professional experience with technology procurement within government entities, particularly those involving security or judicial domains, including engagements with classified or restricted procurement procedures, is required.
With a proven track record in pricing governance or revenue operations within a business generating multiple revenue streams.
