The Content & Publishing Manager will oversee the full content lifecycle, from creation to publication, and will manage the publishing operations for Detail and Acedia Limited.
This position is responsible for developing and executing content strategies, overseeing content creation and editorial standards, managing publishing and distribution processes, and analyzing performance metrics—all while ensuring alignment with client objectives and overarching business goals.
As the operational lead for the company’s publishing division, this role is responsible for enhancing publishing revenue, overseeing book production processes, managing bookstore distribution networks, maintaining precise inventory records, upholding production quality standards, and broadening the market presence of published works.
The Content & Publishing Manager partners with internal teams, external vendors, bookstores, distributors, authors, and clients to streamline publishing workflows and drive sustainable business expansion.
Oversee a range of critical duties including the development and implementation of strategic plans, management of cross-functional teams, and ensuring alignment with organizational objectives. Seeking a candidate with a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent work experience. Proven proficiency in multiple programming languages and frameworks is required. Minimum of three years of relevant experience in software development or a comparable technical role is necessary. Strong analytical skills and the ability to solve complex problems efficiently are essential. Excellent communication skills for collaborating with cross-functional teams and stakeholders are also required.
A bachelor’s degree in Mass Communication, Marketing, Business Administration, or a closely related field is required.
Minimum of 4 years’ progressive experience in publishing, content management, editorial operations, book production, or a related field.
Proficiency in collaborating with printers, authors, editors, distributors, bookstores, educational institutions, and other key stakeholders within the publishing sector is essential.
