Summary
We are seeking a reliable, physically fit, and organized Delivery/Dispatch Officer to manage the safe transportation of our solar batteries, inverters, and accessories.
You will be the final point of contact with our clients, ensuring all technical equipment arrives intact, on time, and with the correct documentation.
Key Duties
Transport, load, and offload heavy solar batteries (tubular/lithium) and sensitive inverters safely.
Route Planning:Navigate local traffic efficiently to ensure on-time deliveries to residential and commercial sites.
Verify items against waybills, issue invoices, and collect signed delivery notes from customers.
Confirm bank transfers or securely handle cash for Cash-on-Delivery (COD) orders.
Perform daily maintenance checks on the company delivery vehicle and report faults immediately
Accompany vehicles to deliver products to clients
Plan smart, cost-effective dispatch routes to accelerate sales velocity and reduce delivery delays.
Ensure proper handling of fragile equipment (e.g., lithium and tubular batteries) during transit.
Supervise the offloading, safe delivery, and handover of equipment at the customer’s premises.
Requirements & Qualifications
Education: SSCE / NECO, OND with excellent communication skills.
Experience: 1 – 2 years of experience as a dispatch rider or delivery driver.
Valid Nigerian Driver’s License or Rider’s Card with a clean driving record is an advantage
Deep familiarity with local roads, shortcuts, and traffic rules.
Physically capable of lifting and moving heavy energy equipment.
Ability to use Google Maps and WhatsApp for location tracking and updates.
Must be familiar with road networks in Lagos.
