Job Summary:
We are in search of a skilled, meticulous, and proactive Technical Support Officer to oversee and sustain the daily IT and technical operations of our organization. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining hardware, software, training, and network systems, delivering technical assistance to staff and customers, safeguarding data security, and ensuring seamless technology operations across all departments while upholding stringent information security standards.
Oversee and execute the primary duties associated with the role, ensuring adherence to organizational objectives and standards. Manage day-to-day operations, including coordinating workflows, delegating tasks, and monitoring progress to maintain efficiency and productivity. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align efforts, resolve challenges, and drive project completion. Conduct regular evaluations of performance metrics to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions as needed. Maintain compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and best practices while fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
Install, configure, setup, and maintain various computer hardware components, software applications, operating systems, network infrastructure, as well as printers and scanners to ensure optimal functionality and reliability.
Oversee the ongoing operation and upkeep of the organization’s IT infrastructure, encompassing servers, internet connectivity, and email systems, to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
Deliver immediate assistance to both staff members and customers regarding hardware and software challenges.
Investigating and resolving issues within systems and networks, you will identify and rectify hardware and software faults through systematic troubleshooting.
Our team is responsible for on-site installation, configuration, setup, technical support, and delivery of both hardware and software solutions to our valued clients.
Respond promptly to incoming calls, documenting each interaction thoroughly in the logging system. Escalate calls to appropriate support vendors or clients when necessary, ensuring critical issues receive timely attention and resolution.
Maintain detailed records and logs for all repairs, fixes, and scheduled maintenance activities to ensure accurate documentation.
Deliver personalized training sessions as needed to support individual development and skill enhancement.
Maintain the integrity and confidentiality of data, network access, and backup systems to safeguard against unauthorized access and potential threats.
Create and configure new user accounts and profiles, while also resolving password-related issues as they arise.
Oversee software license management and system updates while maintaining strict adherence to established IT policies and compliance standards.
Suggest and execute enhancements to IT infrastructure and operational workflows to drive efficiency and effectiveness.
Collaborate with IT vendors and service providers to guarantee prompt support and maintenance services.

The ideal applicant will possess a minimum of three years of relevant professional experience in the field, along with a bachelor’s degree in a related discipline. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills are essential, as is the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a closely related discipline is required.
Seeking candidates with at least two to three years of hands-on experience in IT support or systems administration roles.
Proficient knowledge of computer systems, mobile devices, operating systems (Windows and Mac), and network infrastructures (LAN and WAN) is required.
Proven expertise in diagnosing and resolving hardware, software, and network-related problems.
Proficient in Microsoft 365, Google Workspace, antivirus applications, and backup solutions.
Proficiency in fundamental cybersecurity practices and data protection principles is required.
Exceptional proficiency in problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal interactions is required.
Proven capability to execute responsibilities autonomously as well as integrate effectively within cross-functional teams to achieve shared objectives.
Proficiency in enterprise resource planning systems or other business management software is required.
Proficient understanding of web and server administration principles is required.
Certifications including Compton A+, Network+, or Microsoft Certified IT Professional (MCIT) will be considered advantageous.
Fluency in English, both in written and spoken contexts, is a fundamental requirement.
