Job Description

A Sales Representative drives revenue growth by proactively marketing and delivering a company’s offerings to both current clients and potential buyers.

They cultivate and sustain robust customer connections, uncover potential sales prospects, meet designated sales objectives, and embody the company’s standards with professionalism while guaranteeing customer contentment.

Oversee a comprehensive range of duties encompassing strategic planning, operational execution, and performance evaluation to ensure organizational objectives are consistently met. Facilitate cross-functional collaboration with internal teams and external stakeholders to drive project alignment and foster innovation. Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess progress, identify areas for improvement, and implement corrective measures as needed. Serve as a primary point of contact for leadership, providing clear and concise updates on project statuses, challenges, and milestones. Ensure adherence to industry regulations, company policies, and best practices throughout all initiatives to maintain compliance and mitigate risks.

Drive sales growth by actively promoting and marketing the company’s products and services to prospective and existing customers.

Develop and nurture enduring partnerships with current clients to ensure sustained satisfaction and loyalty.

Strive to achieve or surpass the designated sales goals and key performance indicators.

Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and post-sale support requests with diligence and professionalism to ensure timely resolution and customer satisfaction.

Oversee inventory levels and ensure timely stock replenishment as needed.

Gather customer feedback and deliver actionable insights to management for strategic decision-making.

Maintain adherence to organizational policies and uphold ethical standards in all sales-related activities.

Bachelor’s degree in Education, Psychology, Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field is required. Relevant certifications or advanced degrees are advantageous, particularly in instructional design, organizational development, or talent management. A minimum of three years of experience in training, employee development, or instructional design is essential. Proficiency in learning management systems (LMS) and familiarity with e-learning authoring tools are highly preferred. Strong analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills are necessary to collaborate effectively with stakeholders and subject-matter experts.

A Bachelor’s Degree, Higher National Diploma (HND), Ordinary National Diploma (OND), or National Certificate of Education (NCE) is required.

Additional qualifications in Sales, Marketing, Customer Service, or Business Development are highly beneficial.

Experience Requirements: Candidates must possess a minimum of three years of relevant work experience in a comparable role, demonstrating proficiency with industry-specific software and tools. Familiarity with project management methodologies, such as Agile or Scrum, is preferred, along with strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Applicants should exhibit excellent communication abilities, both written and verbal, to collaborate effectively across teams and stakeholders. Prior leadership or mentorship experience is a plus, as is the ability to adapt to evolving priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Candidates should possess 1 to 3 years of professional experience in sales, marketing, customer service, or business development, with a preference for entry to mid-level positions.

Consistently achieves or surpasses established sales targets with a strong history of success.

Proficiency in retail, fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG), telecommunications, or comparable sectors is highly beneficial.

Proven track record in fostering and managing customer relationships to enhance satisfaction and retention.

Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, with advanced Excel skills for data analysis and reporting. Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities, coupled with strong organizational and time management skills. Demonstrated experience in project coordination, stakeholder management, and cross-functional collaboration. Familiarity with CRM systems, such as Salesforce, and proficiency in data entry, report generation, and presentation creation. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while meeting tight deadlines. Strong analytical mindset to interpret complex data and translate insights into actionable strategies.
