As a CCA (Cultural and Creative Arts or Co-Curricular Activities) teacher, you will design and instruct dynamic lessons encompassing arts, music, drama, and cultural heritage, or oversee extracurricular clubs. Your role involves fostering self-expression, cultivating artistic abilities, and equipping students with the skills necessary for exhibitions and performances.
Key responsibilities include overseeing daily operations, managing team performance, and ensuring project deadlines are met. Additionally, the role involves collaborating with cross-functional departments to align business objectives with operational strategies. You will be responsible for analyzing performance metrics, identifying areas for improvement, and implementing corrective actions as needed. Furthermore, this position requires regular reporting to senior leadership on progress, challenges, and strategic recommendations to support decision-making. Strong leadership, analytical skills, and the ability to drive operational efficiency are essential to success in this role.
Planning and instructing thorough CCA lessons, this position involves developing and delivering curriculum in alignment with Nigerian, British, or American educational standards.
Introduce students to a range of creative disciplines, such as painting, music appreciation, drama, and traditional crafts, fostering skill development in these areas.
Event Coordination: Develop and execute school plays, cultural days, art exhibitions, and performances with precision and creativity.
Evaluate student progress, document academic performance, and equip students with the necessary preparation for internal and external examinations, including BEE and WAEC, to ensure comprehensive assessment and readiness.
Supervise a variety of after-school activities, including clubs, societies, and excursions, to foster well-rounded student growth and engagement.
