Job Summary
The Carpenter will craft, assemble, and finish premium luxury furniture pieces to exacting design specifications, upholding stringent standards for precision, durability, and superior finishing quality.
Oversee a comprehensive range of duties essential to the role, including leading strategic initiatives, managing cross-functional teams, and driving organizational growth. Ensure adherence to industry standards and regulatory requirements while maintaining a focus on quality and efficiency. Collaborate with senior leadership to align business objectives with operational capabilities. Develop and implement policies that enhance productivity and foster innovation. Monitor performance metrics to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions as needed. Serve as a key liaison between departments to facilitate seamless communication and coordination.
Create custom furniture items in accordance with approved designs and technical drawings, ensuring precision in assembly and adherence to specifications.
Accurately interpret technical drawings and measurements, ensuring precise understanding and application of specifications.
Craft wood and associated materials with precision to meet the highest standards of luxury craftsmanship.
Execute woodworking machinery and hand tools with precision and adherence to safety protocols.
Proficiently install fittings, apply veneers and laminates, and execute decorative finishes to achieve high-quality, polished results.
Perform repairs and modifications on premium furniture items.
Responsibilities include up keeping workshop tools and ensuring the work area remains clean and orderly at all times.
Work closely with designers and production teams to ensure timely completion of project deliverables.
Requirements
A minimum of three years of hands-on experience in carpentry is required for this role.
Proficiency in luxury furniture industry operations is a prerequisite for this role.
Possesses extensive expertise in hardwood varieties, veneer applications, laminate materials, and sophisticated finishing methods.
Proficient in analyzing and comprehending technical drawings with precision and accuracy.
Demonstrates meticulous attention to detail and delivers work of exceptional quality.
Capable of working autonomously while consistently achieving established production goals.
