We seek a dynamic, technology-oriented NYC Corner to enhance our expanding technology solutions firm by joining the Technical Operations team. This position encompasses a blend of desktop IT support and introductory-level Network Operations Center (NOC) monitoring responsibilities.
This role involves periodic physical duties, including hardware management, server rack installations, and on-site infrastructure support, which is why we are seeking a Male Support Specialist to enhance our existing team composition.
What You Will Do
Monitor network monitoring systems vigilantly to track system uptime, alerts, and performance metrics continuously.
First-line support specialists diagnose and resolve fundamental hardware, software, and network-related problems encountered by internal employees and external remote clients.
Incident Management responsibilities include logging system alerts, escalating critical network errors to senior engineers, and monitoring issues until complete resolution.
System Maintenance: Provide support in the installation of workstations, termination of cables, installation of patch panels, and configuration of routers and switches.
Maintain precise records of daily network health assessments and comprehensive IT asset inventories to ensure accuracy and compliance.
What We Are Looking For
A dedicated National Youth Service Corps (NYC) member currently deployed in Nigeria is pursuing a Primary Place of Assignment (PPA) within IKEA or its immediate surrounding areas.
A degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical/Electronic Engineering, or a comparable technical discipline is required.
