The Tax Manager plays a pivotal role in overseeing the Bank’s tax operations across RMB Nigeria, its subsidiaries, and associated entities, ensuring full adherence to Nigerian tax legislation and regulatory standards. Oversee the prompt preparation, submission, and remittance of all mandatory statutory taxes, including Corporate Income Tax (CIT), Value-Added Tax (VAT), Withholding Tax (WHT), Stamp Duties, Capital Gains Tax (CGT), and other applicable levies.
Compile and verify annual tax computations and statutory filings to ensure accuracy and compliance with regulatory standards.
Responsible for managing tax accounting, provision calculations, and financial disclosures in compliance with International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS).
Ensure adherence to the provisions of the Bank and Other Financial Institutions Act (SOFIA), Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) directives, and applicable regulatory frameworks.
Develops and maintains robust governance frameworks to ensure compliance with transfer pricing regulations and policies. Oversees the strategic alignment of intercompany pricing practices with global tax objectives, mitigating risks associated with non-compliance. Collaborates with cross-functional teams to implement and review transfer pricing methodologies, documenting policies and procedures in alignment with OECD guidelines and local tax laws. Experience
