Oversee a range of critical duties encompassing project execution, team leadership, and process optimization to ensure alignment with organizational goals. Overseeing the organization’s legal portfolio, instruments, and ensuring compliance with applicable regulations.

You will develop, implement, and maintain organizational policies, strategies, plans, and processes to ensure full compliance with regulatory mandates and prevailing industry standards.

Responsible for managing all communications, IT infrastructure, branding initiatives, and public relations activities.

The role encompasses overseeing all operational facets of the organization, such as fostering a constructive workplace culture, managing staff recruitment and welfare, facilitating ongoing training and development initiatives, conducting performance evaluations, handling disciplinary matters, overseeing exit procedures, and other related duties.

Serving as the official representative for the organization in both internal and external capacities, this role engages in critical functions such as negotiations, seminars, public hearings, and various other events to uphold and promote the organization’s interests and objectives.

Perform routine compliance audits to detect and resolve any potential issues promptly.

Offer counsel on matters pertaining to corporate governance to ensure adherence to regulatory standards and best practices.

Ensure seamless board meetings while maintaining adherence to all statutory obligations.

Responsibilities include organizing and overseeing corporate records and documentation.

Partner with legal counsel to address a range of legal issues impacting the organization’s operations and strategic initiatives.

Prepare and review contracts, agreements, and other legal documentation with precision and thoroughness.

Evaluate potential risks and formulate strategies to minimize or eliminate their impact.

Collaborate with regulatory authorities to facilitate prompt and accurate submission of required reports.

Develop and nurture connections with external stakeholders, such as regulatory agencies, to ensure effective collaboration and alignment with organizational objectives.

Act as the principal liaison for all compliance-related questions and concerns, addressing them with diligence and expertise.

Manage and maintain all vendor partnerships and corporate service agreements to ensure optimal performance and alignment with organizational objectives.

Proven expertise in the specified domain is required, alongside a strong academic foundation in a relevant field. Candidates must demonstrate exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively in team environments. Proficiency in industry-standard tools, software, or methodologies is essential, and prior hands-on experience in related roles is highly desirable. The ideal candidate will exhibit a commitment to continuous learning, adaptability to evolving challenges, and a track record of delivering measurable results.

A Bachelor of Laws (LL.B) degree with at least a Second Class Upper Division and admission to the Nigerian Bar is required.

A minimum of seven years of post-call experience is required, including at least three years in a senior or supervisory capacity.

Proven expertise in corporate governance principles, adherence to regulatory requirements, and a comprehensive understanding of applicable legal frameworks.

Proven expertise in leadership and organizational management is essential.

Demonstrated expertise in utilizing Microsoft Office Suite and other pertinent digital platforms is required.

Proficient in written communication, analytical reasoning, and strategic problem-solving.

Proven ability to cultivate strong interpersonal relationships and effectively manage diverse stakeholders.
