Perform topographic, boundary, and as-built surveys to support construction projects.
Determine and establish reference points, grids, and benchmarks derived from architectural and engineering drawings.
Operate and maintain advanced surveying instruments such as Total Stations, GPS devices, and Auto Levels to ensure accurate data collection and equipment functionality.
Develop comprehensive survey reports, drawings, and data sheets with meticulous attention to detail.
Work in tandem with site engineers, project managers, and contractors to verify adherence to design plans.
Ensure precise vertical and horizontal alignments are maintained throughout excavation, foundation installation, and structural construction phases.
Ensure that all surveying operations adhere to established safety and quality protocols consistently.
Ensure survey records are kept precise and project databases remain current at all times.
Requirement
A minimum of six to nine years of hands-on experience as a Land Surveyor in construction projects, specifically within building or civil works, is required.
A Bachelor of Science (BSC) or Higher National Diploma (HND) in Geoinformatics, Surveying, or a closely related discipline is required.
Demonstrates advanced expertise in operating Total Station, GPS devices, AutoCAD, and specialized survey software with precision and efficiency.
CORE registration or affiliation with the Nigerian Institution of Surveyors (IS) is highly advantageous.
Proficiency in reviewing and understanding construction drawings and blueprints is required.
Demonstrates exceptional proficiency in mathematical reasoning, analytical thinking, and problem-solving methodologies.
Demonstrates flexibility to commit to a full-time, on-site work schedule in Abu Dhabi, with potential travel to designated project locations as needed.
