Job Summary
We seek a dedicated Compliance Officer to enhance and uphold our regulatory framework while ensuring meticulous documentation standards.
This position seeks candidates with a strong track record in compliance, audit, and statutory reporting.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for guaranteeing the organization’s compliance with all applicable laws and internal policies.
Oversee the planning, execution, and evaluation of assigned projects to ensure adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align objectives and streamline processes, fostering an environment of accountability and innovation. Identify and mitigate potential risks while proactively addressing challenges to maintain project momentum. Monitor progress through regular reporting, adjusting strategies as needed to optimize performance. Ensure compliance with organizational policies, industry regulations, and best practices throughout all project phases.
Perform internal compliance audits and provide support in the execution of established policies.
Ensuring adherence to established company policies and directives is a key responsibility.
Diligently tracking customer acknowledgements to ensure timely responses and compliance with service standards.
The position involves ensuring adherence to credit policy, conducting debtors circularization, facilitating the recovery of overdue debts, and reconciling accounts for corporate customers.
Overseeing the increase in product pricing constitutes a key responsibility within this role. This involves tracking and analyzing price changes to identify trends and potential impacts on the business. A keen attention to detail and proficiency in data analysis are essential to ensure accurate monitoring and reporting. Additionally, the position may require collaboration with procurement and sales teams to understand market dynamics and adjust pricing strategies accordingly. Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret economic indicators are also critical for success in this position.
Requirements
A degree or diploma in Accounting or Management Sciences, such as B.Sc., HND, OND, or Graduate Trainee qualifications, is required, with candidates possessing 2 to 3 years of relevant experience viewed favorably.
A bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Law, or a closely related discipline is required.
Demonstrates exceptional analytical capabilities and meticulous documentation practices, ensuring precision and thoroughness in all tasks. Exercises keen attention to detail to maintain high standards of accuracy and reliability.
Proficient in communication, interpersonal interactions, and organizational coordination are essential, along with a strong capacity for collaboration and relationship-building.
Demonstrates proficiency in overseeing and coordinating various compliance-related assignments spanning multiple departments with precision and efficiency.
The ideal candidate is required to maintain a primary residence in Sokoto.
