The Compliance Manager will oversee adherence to applicable financial regulations, industry standards, and internal policies across all organizational operations.

This position entails overseeing compliance-related risks, establishing and executing compliance frameworks, and advising the organization on regulatory obligations to ensure adherence to applicable laws and standards.

The ideal candidate must currently reside in Abu Dhabi, UAE, or be ready to relocate with minimal or no support.

Oversee a comprehensive range of duties encompassing key operational tasks, ensuring adherence to established protocols and organizational standards. Serve as a pivotal point of contact for cross-functional teams, facilitating seamless communication and collaboration to drive project success. Implement and monitor performance metrics to evaluate progress, identify areas for improvement, and recommend strategic adjustments as needed. Prepare detailed reports and presentations for stakeholders, summarizing findings and outlining actionable recommendations to support informed decision-making. Maintain meticulous documentation of processes, outcomes, and compliance requirements to ensure transparency and accountability.

Design, execute, and oversee compliance frameworks, policies, and procedures to ensure alignment with financial regulatory standards.

Perform comprehensive risk assessments and compliance audits to evaluate existing controls, identify potential deficiencies, and propose appropriate corrective measures.

Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements set forth by governing bodies including the Central Bank, Anti-Money Laundering (AML) legislation, and data privacy mandates.

Monitor evolving regulatory frameworks and provide guidance to leadership on compliance-related obligations to ensure adherence to current standards.

Collaborate effectively with legal, risk, and audit departments to establish and maintain a unified approach to risk management.

Deliver comprehensive compliance training sessions to employees, fostering a deeper understanding and strict adherence to established internal policies.

Design, implement, and maintain robust Know Your Customer (KYC) and Anti-Money Laundering (AML) frameworks to ensure compliance with regulatory standards. Oversee the execution of these processes, ensuring adherence to policies and mitigating risks associated with financial crimes.

Act as the primary liaison with regulatory bodies and oversee compliance audits.

Conduct thorough assessments of compliance violations and propose appropriate corrective measures as well as disciplinary actions.

Compile and deliver comprehensive compliance reports to Executive Management and relevant regulatory authorities, ensuring accuracy and adherence to established standards.

Execute all additional responsibilities delegated by the General Manager Director or the Board of Directors as required.

Technical expertise serves as a fundamental prerequisite for this position, encompassing a solid understanding of relevant tools, methodologies, and systems pertinent to the role. Candidates must demonstrate proficiency in specific technical domains, along with the ability to apply this knowledge effectively in practical scenarios. Additionally, adherence to industry standards and best practices is essential to ensure optimal performance and alignment with organizational objectives.

With a minimum of four years of demonstrated expertise in compliance management, risk mitigation, or regulatory affairs, preferably within the financial or fintech sectors.

Proficient in financial legislation, data protection standards such as GDPR and PCI DSS, as well as risk assessment methodologies.

Proficient in navigating e-payment compliance frameworks, risk mitigation strategies, and applicable financial regulations.

Demonstrated expertise in implementing and managing Anti-Money Laundering (AML), Know Your Customer (KYC), and fraud detection frameworks and protocols is essential.

Proficiency in adhering to established data protection and cybersecurity compliance standards is essential.

Proven ability to analyze complex information and develop effective solutions through structured problem-solving approaches.

Demonstrates strong self-motivation and the capacity to function effectively both autonomously and as part of a cohesive team environment.

Proven ability to communicate effectively and craft clear, concise reports.
