Proven capability to operate autonomously and take initiative in managing the timely and accurate delivery of all trial materials to designated locations.
Maintain demand forecasts and packaging plans to ensure packed clinical supplies are readily accessible in alignment with project specifications.
In collaboration with the designated vendor, launch packaging initiatives and supervise the process to guarantee punctual delivery. Additionally, oversee and update, as needed, the Interactive Response Technology (IRT) systems linked to the study to maintain efficient inventory management.
Oversee the distribution plan and manage the designated vendor(s) responsible for its execution. Ensure continuous monitoring of budget performance to maintain efficient project operations in strict adherence to client-approved quotations.
Ensures complete adherence to all allocated training requirements and integrates acquired knowledge into daily responsibilities.
Stay current with all relevant Gap and regulatory standards pertinent to the position.
Facilitates essential discussions with clients and vendors to address Clinical Supply Chain matters or provide status updates as required.
Offers administrative assistance to the Clinical Trial Supplies team as needed and oversees the evaluation and review process for Temperature Excursions reported to the VIA Clinical Trial Supplies team.
Performs comprehensive and periodic risk management evaluations to ensure all risks are methodically examined, with necessary mitigation measures implemented accordingly.
Candidates must possess a relevant academic degree and meet the necessary educational prerequisites to be considered for this position. Essential qualifications include a formal education in the specified field, along with any additional certifications or specialized training required to perform the role effectively. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a strong academic foundation coupled with the practical knowledge necessary to excel in the position.
A minimum of a bachelor’s degree in a scientific discipline or a business-related field is required.
Candidates must possess a minimum of one to two years of prior professional experience in the field of Clinical Trials.
Additionally, candidates must possess a minimum of one year of relevant experience in clinical supply chain management, which may be gained through roles in supply chain operations, packaging, distribution, or interactive response technology (IRT) functions.
Proven expertise in utilizing the Interactive Response Technology (IRT) system is required.
Proven capability in effectively managing projects with a structured and organized approach is essential.
Capable of fostering productive partnerships with both internal teams and external partners, ensuring seamless collaboration and alignment toward shared objectives.
Proficient in conveying information clearly and guiding teams with precision.
Demonstrates strong problem-solving capabilities with a methodical approach to identifying and resolving issues efficiently.
