Job Summary

Christian Medical Doctors specializing in gynecology are currently being sought to join our team, with positions available on a rotational shift basis. The schedule may consist of either alternating day and night shifts or a one-week-on, one-week-off arrangement, ensuring continuous patient care while providing flexibility in work hours.

Oversee a variety of critical tasks to ensure operational efficiency and adherence to established standards, including coordinating team activities, managing project timelines, and maintaining accurate documentation. Implement and monitor policies and procedures to enhance productivity while mitigating risks. Collaborate with cross-functional departments to align goals and resolve interdepartmental challenges. Provide leadership and guidance to team members to foster professional development and optimize performance. Conduct regular assessments to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective measures as needed. Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry best practices to uphold organizational integrity and reputation.

Clinical Care involves delivering thorough outpatient consultations, overseeing antenatal and fertility clinic operations, and addressing complex obstetric and gynecological cases with specialized expertise.

Independently conduct or support obstetric and gynecological surgical interventions, encompassing Caesarean Sections (C-Sections), fibroid removal, ovarian cyst excision, appendectomies, and additional related gynecological operations.

Lead daily ward rounds, oversee pre- and post-operative care, and uphold the delivery of exceptional, patient-focused services.

Provide round-the-clock on-site medical assistance during assigned shifts, ensuring immediate and expert response to obstetric emergencies with both accuracy and urgency.

Ensure the meticulous maintenance of medical records while contributing to clinical audits and fostering collaboration with nursing and laboratory teams to enhance patient care outcomes.

Evaluates patients’ medical conditions by reviewing their histories, conducting diagnoses, providing treatment and counseling, and making referrals when appropriate.

Proficiency in ordering laboratory tests and analyzing their results is essential, ensuring accurate diagnostic insights and informed clinical decisions.

Ensuring strict confidentiality and maintaining complete impartiality at every stage is essential.

Responsibilities include gathering, documenting, and safeguarding confidential patient data, encompassing examination findings, medical histories, and clinical reports to ensure accuracy and confidentiality.

Professionals in this role deliver obstetric care by assisting in childbirth, conduct surgical procedures for patients with specific medical needs, and oversee regular clinical ward rounds to monitor patient progress.

Our team is responsible for clearly communicating medical procedures and recommended treatments to patients, ensuring they fully understand the steps involved and any associated care plans.

Engaging collaboratively with healthcare providers in both community settings and hospital environments.

Evaluating the performance of trainee physicians, nurses, and medical students represents a core responsibility of this role.

Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent professional experience is mandatory. Candidates must possess at least five years of progressive experience in a similar role, with proven expertise in project management and stakeholder engagement. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, along with the ability to lead cross-functional teams, are essential. Exceptional communication and organizational abilities are required to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Hold an accredited Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) degree.
