GJ Halcyon Company Ltd is seeking an experienced Senior Welder to oversee welding operations and guide junior technicians. The role involves executing intricate fabrication tasks, performing structural welding, and ensuring strict adherence to quality control standards across industrial projects.
Oversee a comprehensive range of duties, including but not limited to strategic planning, operational execution, and performance monitoring, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives. Develop and implement policies, procedures, and best practices to enhance efficiency, productivity, and compliance across departments. Lead cross-functional teams, fostering collaboration, innovation, and accountability to drive project success and meet key performance indicators. Analyze data, assess risks, and provide actionable insights to senior leadership to support informed decision-making. Serve as a key liaison between executive leadership and staff, facilitating clear communication and resolving escalated issues promptly. Ensure adherence to industry regulations, quality standards, and ethical guidelines while maintaining a customer-centric approach. Monitor resource allocation, budget adherence, and financial performance to optimize operational costs and maximize return on investment.
Analyze intricate technical drawings, decipher welding symbols, and interpret detailed fabrication specifications.
Execute MIG, TIG, and arc welding processes with meticulous accuracy on carbon steel, stainless steel, and alloy materials.
Conduct comprehensive welding quality inspections to verify that all tasks adhere strictly to AWS and BS EN standards.
Cut, grind, and prepare heavy metal components to ensure they are properly shaped and finished for welding operations.
Experienced welders will lead the instruction and mentorship of junior welders and apprentices, ensuring their skill development and adherence to safety protocols.
Oversee the upkeep and operational condition of welding machinery while ensuring adherence to stringent safety protocols at all times.
Analyze welding defects to identify root causes and propose appropriate solutions to rectify issues.
Requirements:
Trade Test I Certificate accompanied by a minimum of three years of hands-on welding experience is required.
Demonstrated expertise in executing structural, piping, or heavy fabrication projects with consistent success, as evidenced by a strong portfolio of completed assignments.
Seeking candidates with a certification in MIG, TIG, and ARC welding. Possession of a 6G pipe welding certification is considered beneficial.
Proficient in interpreting blueprints and executing tasks with a high degree of autonomy, requiring little to no oversight.
Seasoned professionals must demonstrate exceptional leadership acumen, analytical problem-solving capabilities, and an unwavering commitment to prioritizing safety above all else.
Capable of performing duties that require physical fitness in elevated and restricted environments.
What We Offer:
Base compensation is set at $120,000 annually, with eligibility for performance-based bonuses and profit-sharing opportunities.
Compensation will be determined based on the candidate’s demonstrated expertise, professional credentials, and pertinent work background.
Full-time position with additional compensation for overtime hours on project assignments.
