We are currently seeking enthusiastic individuals to join our volunteer team. This opportunity is open to those eager to contribute their time and skills without financial compensation. Ideal candidates should possess a strong commitment to our mission and demonstrate reliability in fulfilling assigned tasks. Responsibilities include supporting various programs, assisting with event coordination, and collaborating with staff and other volunteers. Prior experience in a related field is beneficial but not mandatory.
This position is currently available as an unpaid, volunteer opportunity.
As Malcolm’s Anatomy Foundation continues to expand and secure sustainable funding, volunteer positions may eventually transition to compensated roles, contingent upon organizational requirements and available financial resources.

The Prosthetics Provider Network Department maintains a verified database of prosthetic and rehabilitation service providers across Africa, ensuring comprehensive coverage and accuracy.
This database will serve as the cornerstone of a Provider Network Directory, enabling users to locate reliable professionals by filtering based on geographic location, service offerings, and areas of expertise.
The department oversees the documentation and follow-up of cases submitted by individuals requesting prosthetic or rehabilitation assistance, maintaining meticulous records to facilitate advocacy efforts, community engagement initiatives, and fundraising activities.
Oversee a comprehensive range of critical duties encompassing operational leadership, strategic planning, and team management to drive organizational success. Collaborate with cross-functional departments to streamline processes, enhance productivity, and ensure adherence to established policies and industry regulations. Develop and implement innovative initiatives aimed at optimizing workflow efficiency, reducing costs, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement. Serve as a pivotal liaison between senior management and staff, facilitating clear communication, aligning objectives, and resolving escalated issues. Provide mentorship and coaching to team members, promoting professional growth, accountability, and high-performance standards. Monitor performance metrics, analyze data trends, and present actionable insights to executive leadership to inform decision-making. We are seeking to compile a comprehensive database of Prosthetics, Orthotics, Physiotherapy, and Rehabilitation service providers throughout Africa, ensuring accurate documentation of their details and services offered.
Perform validation and evaluation of providers in accordance with Foundation-established criteria and protocols.
Maintain precise documentation within the Provider Network database using Excel or Google Sheets.
Review submitted prosthetic support requests, ensuring timely follow-up and resolution in accordance with established procedures.
Develop comprehensive structured case documentation to enhance awareness and fundraising campaign effectiveness.
Provide expert perspectives to enhance referral systems and optimize access pathways.
Who We Are Looking For
Licensed professionals specializing in Prosthetics and Orthotics are required for this position.
Physiotherapists and rehabilitation specialists deliver therapeutic interventions to restore and enhance physical function, mobility, and overall well-being. They assess patients’ conditions, develop individualized treatment plans, and implement evidence-based techniques such as manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, and modalities like ultrasound or electrotherapy. These professionals collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to address injuries, chronic conditions, post-surgical recovery, and neurological or musculoskeletal disorders. Additionally, they educate patients on injury prevention, ergonomic practices, and home exercise programs to promote long-term health and independence. Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills are essential, along with a thorough understanding of anatomy, physiology, and rehabilitation principles.
