Job Summary

The Nail Technician delivers exceptional manicure and pedicure services, along with expert nail extensions and specialized treatments, ensuring client satisfaction and maintaining the highest standards of hygiene and craftsmanship.

The position requires fostering enduring client connections to promote recurring patronage, upholding rigorous sanitation protocols, and staying informed about emerging nail care trends and techniques.

Oversee and execute critical duties involving the management of projects, ensuring timely and budget-conscious completion while adhering to established quality standards. Lead cross-functional teams to achieve organizational targets, fostering collaboration and accountability among stakeholders. Develop and implement strategic plans to optimize workflows, enhance productivity, and drive continuous improvement initiatives. Monitor progress through regular assessments, addressing challenges proactively to mitigate risks. Serve as the primary liaison between departments, facilitating clear communication and alignment with company objectives. Ensure compliance with industry regulations and internal policies, maintaining meticulous documentation and reporting. Deliver exceptional nail care services encompassing manicures, pedicures, nail extensions, nail art, and gel or acrylic applications with precision and expertise.

Remove old nail polish, clean nails thoroughly, and shape them to the desired style. Gently push back cuticles for a polished appearance, then apply nail polish in accordance with the client’s preferences.

Consult with clients to understand their preferences and provide expert recommendations for nail designs and styles tailored to their individual needs before applying artificial nails.

Assess clients’ nail conditions thoroughly and suggest suitable treatments along with aftercare guidance. Maintain strict adherence to hygiene and safety standards.

Ensure all nail tools, instruments, and equipment are thoroughly sanitized before each use.

Ensure the workstation remains consistently clean, organized, and hygienic at all times.

Strict adherence to salon hygiene standards and safety regulations must be maintained at all times.

Extend a cordial welcome to clients, demonstrate strong communication skills, and deliver expert guidance on nail care best practices.

Ensure ongoing communication throughout the service to uphold client comfort and satisfaction.

Promptly address customer concerns, escalating any complaints to the Salon Manager as required.

Enhance revenue opportunities by promoting premium nail care products and supplementary services to clients, ensuring they maximize their experience and satisfaction.

Track inventory of nail products and initiate procurement requests whenever stock levels fall below predetermined thresholds.

Ensure the proper handling and care of salon products and tools to reduce unnecessary waste.

Maintain salon standards regarding appearance, hygiene, and professional etiquette.

Ensure strict adherence to scheduled appointments while efficiently managing time commitments.

To maintain current knowledge, actively monitor industry trends, emerging techniques, and innovative products.

Promptly escalate any identified concerns to the Salon Manager to ensure timely resolution and maintain operational standards.

Work collaboratively with salon colleagues to uphold seamless daily operations.

Maintain professionalism by refraining from engaging in unrelated conversations, horseplay, or personal phone use while serving clients.

Requirements

A high school diploma or its equivalent is required, with professional nail technician certification considered a valuable asset.

Requires a minimum of two years of demonstrated expertise as a nail technician within a salon or spa environment.

Proficiency in nail care methods, artistic designs, and sanitation standards is required.

Proven ability to communicate effectively and build strong professional relationships. Demonstrates exceptional proficiency in addressing customer needs and fostering positive interactions.
