As a Health Information Management Officer, your responsibilities will encompass overseeing and managing health information systems, ensuring data accuracy, integrity, and security. Responsible for managing the organization and upkeep of both electronic and paper-based health records.

Accurately assign codes to diagnoses and procedures in strict accordance with established coding guidelines and standards.

Perform periodic audits to verify coding precision and adherence to regulatory standards.

Examine health information data to detect trends, patterns, and opportunities for enhancement.

Prepare routine reports tailored for both internal stakeholders and regulatory authorities.

Remain up-to-date on healthcare regulation updates and maintain strict adherence to applicable compliance standards.

To establish and enforce quality assurance protocols ensuring the preservation of data integrity and precision.

Work alongside healthcare professionals, administrative personnel, and other staff members to facilitate clear communication and streamline documentation systems.

Deliver comprehensive training and support to staff regarding optimal practices in health information management.

Seeking an accomplished professional who meets the following criteria: a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in the field, a bachelor’s degree in a related discipline (or equivalent practical experience), and proficiency in industry-standard tools and methodologies.
