As the driving force behind Working’s growth initiatives, the Sales Development Representative (SDR) plays a pivotal role in shaping the company’s sales pipeline. Your responsibilities will include conducting targeted research to identify ideal partners and clients, designing and executing high-impact outbound campaigns, and delivering well-qualified, warm leads to the Business Development team for conversion. Additionally, you will contribute to hosting premium webinars and live sessions designed to convert prospects into valuable pipeline opportunities. Evaluate both incoming and outgoing leads by comparing them against the established Ideal Customer Profile (ICP), ensuring prompt disqualification of prospects that do not align with the criteria.
Proactively initiate discovery calls on behalf of the Business Development team and prepare comprehensive pre-call briefs that include detailed company context, strategic timing considerations, and a compelling value proposition to reinforce our unique advantages.
Conduct prompt, tailored follow-up communication with prospects at each phase of the initial sales funnel to ensure engagement and progression.
Provide comprehensive CRM and administrative assistance to ensure efficient management of customer relationships and smooth operational workflows. Handle data entry, maintain accurate records, and support CRM system functionality to enhance customer engagement and organizational productivity. Coordinate administrative tasks, including scheduling, correspondence, and document preparation, to streamline internal processes and improve overall efficiency.
Maintain and update the CRM/lead tracker (Notion) by logging all accounts, contacts, touchpoints, and outcomes within 24 hours, ensuring accurate and up-to-date records for seamless tracking and follow-up.
Maintain up-to-date accuracy for all stages, designated owners, upcoming action deadlines, and the original source of attribution throughout the process.
Compile and deliver a weekly performance summary that includes metrics such as lead generation volumes, outreach activity, response rates, scheduled meetings, and progression through each stage of the sales pipeline.
Identify pipeline inefficiencies proactively and notify the Partnerships & Growth Manager of any blockages.
Provide technical and administrative assistance for digital events and webinars, ensuring seamless execution and participant engagement throughout the virtual experience.
Assist in the planning, marketing, and execution of virtual events, including webinars and live sessions, tailored specifically to our agency, employer, and individual audiences.
Produce or refine event-related content, including slides, social media graphics, and one-page documents, utilizing Canva and our established brand templates.
Set up and oversee registration processes using platforms such as Zoom, Google Forms, Eventbrite, or Calendly.
Responsible for managing all attendee communications, including sending reminder emails, day-of-event notifications, post-event thank-you messages, and replay links.
Deliver technical assistance during events, including managing polls, facilitating Q&A sessions, handling recording operations, moderating live chat, and overseeing breakout room functionality.
Enrich post-event leads and transfer qualified attendees into the outbound and business development pipelines for further engagement and conversion.
Provides cross-functional assistance by collaborating with various departments to ensure seamless operations and address interdepartmental needs efficiently.
Collaborate closely with Marketing to develop high-performing landing pages, compelling lead magnets, and strategically aligned campaign messaging.
Collaborate closely with the Business Development team to conduct thorough account research, develop strategic pursuit plans, and craft compelling proposal collateral.
Surface-level feedback from the field—including customer objections, pricing concerns, and recurring inquiries—should be systematically communicated to product, content, and leadership teams for evaluation and action.
The ideal candidate must possess a bachelor’s degree in a relevant field such as computer science, engineering, or mathematics. A minimum of three years of professional experience in software development or data analysis is required. Proficiency in programming languages like Python, Java, or C++ is essential. Familiarity with database management systems and cloud computing platforms is also necessary. Strong analytical skills and the ability to solve complex problems are crucial. Excellent communication and teamwork abilities are expected to collaborate effectively within cross-functional teams.
Professional candidates must possess 1 to 3 years of hands-on experience in SDR, BDR, inside-sales, recruiting, or outbound marketing roles, with a strong preference for B2B environments.
Fluency in both written and spoken English at a native level is essential. Proficiency in an additional international language, such as French, Portuguese, Arabic, German, or Spanish, is highly advantageous.
