Job Purpose
The Assistant Security Supervisor plays a key role in assisting the Security Supervisor to organize and oversee daily security operations, safeguarding personnel, visitors, assets, facilities, and sensitive company information. Responsibilities include supporting the supervision of security staff, enforcing established security protocols, managing access control systems, addressing incidents promptly, and ensuring adherence to company-wide security policies and standards.
Oversee and execute core duties encompassing strategic planning, project management, and cross-functional collaboration to drive organizational objectives. Serve as a primary liaison between departments, ensuring seamless communication and alignment of goals. Monitor progress through performance metrics, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions. Develop and maintain policies, procedures, and systems to enhance operational efficiency and compliance. Lead initiatives to optimize resource allocation, reduce costs, and maximize productivity. Foster a culture of accountability and continuous improvement through team leadership and professional development. Ensure adherence to industry regulations, safety standards, and ethical guidelines while delivering high-quality results.
Review and oversee the duty roster to ensure outsourced guards are correctly assigned to their designated beats upon the commencement of duty.
Conduct thorough and vigilant oversight of assigned areas to proactively prevent theft, sabotage, espionage, and harm resulting from both human actions and natural events.
Execute routine inspections of assigned areas to verify that contracted security personnel adhere to their obligations as outlined in the agreed Service Level Agreement.
Oversee shift operations to guarantee that no items depart the factory without proper clearance, and prevent unauthorized individuals or materials from entering the premises.
Immediately report any security breaches detected on the factory premises to the Safety and Security Supervisor.
Welcome and escort new employees, visitors, guests, contractors, and others with professionalism and courtesy to their designated offices or departments.
Conduct thorough reviews of beat registers at all locations to maintain accurate and comprehensive documentation, documenting observations and recommendations for enhancements as needed.
Promptly address all security emergencies, compiling thorough situational reports, and ensure accurate handover documentation is prepared and submitted at the conclusion of each duty shift to facilitate appropriate follow-up actions.
Collaborate with the external security provider and loading supervisors/clerks to facilitate uninterrupted vehicle circulation and parking operations.
Monitor the performance of outsourced security personnel and deliver constructive feedback to enhance their effectiveness.
Seeking a candidate with a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field, supplemented by at least three years of hands-on experience in software development. Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, or C++ is essential, along with expertise in database management systems like SQL or MongoDB. Strong problem-solving abilities, excellent communication skills, and a collaborative mindset are required to thrive in this dynamic environment. Responsibilities include designing, developing, and maintaining high-performance applications, identifying and resolving complex technical issues, and contributing to the continuous improvement of software solutions.
A degree in Operations and Network Design (OND) or a comparable qualification in a pertinent field is required.
