Basic Functions
The manager of Aircraft Cabin and IFE Maintenance oversees the strategic planning, implementation, and supervision of all maintenance tasks pertaining to aircraft cabin interiors and In-Flight Entertainment (IFE) systems within Air Peace’s entire fleet. This role is tasked with upholding the utmost levels of safety, reliability, passenger comfort, and adherence to regulatory requirements in accordance with the guidelines set by the Nigerian Civil Aviation Authority, other key regulatory bodies, and Air Peace’s established operational protocols. This position directly reports to the Head of Maintenance.
Qualifications &Requirements
A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification in aeronautical, mechanical, or electrical engineering is required, as is a Diploma in Aviation Maintenance accompanied by ICAO Type II licenses.
With a minimum of ten years of experience in Aircraft Maintenance, including at least five years in a supervisory or managerial capacity, with a specific focus on Cabin and IFE systems.
Seasoned professionals with extensive expertise in narrow-body and wide-body aircraft, including the Boeing 737, 777, and similar models, are sought.
An Aircraft Maintenance Engineer (AME) License with an applicable category rating—particularly in Airframe and Avionics—is required. Training specific to In-Flight Entertainment (IFE) and Cabin systems from recognized providers (such as Thales, Panasonic, or Collins Aerospace) will be considered advantageous.
Proficient in cabin structures, materials, composites, and IFE hardware/software systems, with strong expertise in diagnosing and resolving electrical, electronics, and mechanical cabin system issues.
Strong leadership, problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills are essential for this role.
