Accurate financial record-keeping and meticulous documentation of every transaction must be upheld at all times.
Compiling financial statements on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis ensures accurate and timely reporting of the organization’s financial performance.
Responsible for managing accounts receivable and payable operations, ensuring timely and accurate processing of financial transactions.
Responsible for reconciling bank statements and overseeing cash flow activities.
Ensuring the prompt recording and processing of financial transactions is a critical responsibility.
Provides support in the development of budgets and monitoring of expenditures to ensure financial accuracy and adherence to allocated resources.
Ensuring adherence to established financial policies and regulations as well as internal procedural guidelines is a critical responsibility.
Assisting with audit processes and furnishing relevant financial documentation upon request constitute key responsibilities of this role.
Oversee financial records to identify and document discrepancies, ensuring accuracy and compliance with established standards. Prepare detailed reports summarizing findings, variances, or anomalies for review by relevant stakeholders. Maintain meticulous documentation of all observations and corrective actions taken to address identified issues.
Handles additional accounting tasks as directed by senior leadership, ensuring comprehensive support to the finance department.
Seeking a highly skilled and motivated professional to fulfill the position, the candidate must possess a bachelor’s degree in a relevant field and demonstrate at least three years of hands-on experience in the industry. Proficiency in industry-standard software and tools, along with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, is essential. Excellent communication and teamwork skills are required to collaborate effectively across departments. The ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines while maintaining high-quality standards is a must. Familiarity with current trends and best practices in the field is advantageous.
A bachelor’s degree or Higher National Diploma (HND) in Accounting, Finance, or a closely aligned discipline is required.
We seek candidates with at least two to four years of demonstrated experience in accounting or finance-related positions.
Demonstrates a solid grasp of fundamental accounting principles and operational practices, ensuring accurate financial recording and reporting. Applicants must possess a comprehensive knowledge of accounting fundamentals to effectively contribute to financial processes and decision-making within the organization.
Proven expertise in utilizing accounting software and Microsoft Excel is essential for this role.
