Oversee incoming tuition payments, manage uniform sales transactions, and track additional revenue channels to ensure financial accuracy and operational efficiency.
Provide support in compiling and organizing budgetary plans, as well as monitoring and recording financial expenditures to ensure accuracy and adherence to allocated funds.
Process invoices, receipts, and payment vouchers while adhering to established internal controls to ensure accuracy and compliance with organizational policies.
Assist in the administration of payroll processing and the distribution of employee benefits.
Ensure adherence to established accounting standards, internal policies, and relevant statutory regulations to maintain accuracy, integrity, and legal compliance in all financial activities.
Collaborate effectively with auditors, financial institutions, and third-party vendors to address and resolve financial inquiries and transactions.
Deliver accurate and up-to-date financial data to leadership to facilitate informed decision-making processes.
Perform all additional finance-related duties as assigned by management, ensuring thorough completion and adherence to established protocols.
The minimum qualifications for this position include a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field, along with three years of experience in software development. Familiarity with programming languages such as Java, Python, or C++ is essential. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team are also required. Additionally, candidates should possess excellent communication skills to convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders. Experience with Agile methodologies and version control systems like Git is preferred.
A bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a closely related discipline, or an equivalent Higher National Diploma (HND), is required.
ACA or ARCA certification is considered a valuable asset.
A minimum of three years of pertinent accounting experience is required.
Possesses robust analytical and quantitative capabilities, demonstrating a keen aptitude for interpreting complex data and deriving meaningful insights through structured problem-solving approaches. Exhibits a high degree of proficiency in numerical reasoning, enabling precise calculations and accurate assessments of quantitative information.
