We seek a proactive, tech-savvy, and analytical NYC Corner to support our expanding technology solutions provider within the Technical Operations team. This hybrid position combines desktop IT assistance with entry-level Network Operations Center (NOC) monitoring responsibilities.

This role involves periodic duties such as managing hardware, deploying server racks, and providing on-site physical assistance within our infrastructure, which is why we seek a Male Support Specialist to complement our existing team structure.

What You Will Do

Diligently oversee network monitoring tools to ensure continuous tracking of system uptime, alert notifications, and performance metrics.

Provide first-line support by diagnosing and resolving basic hardware, software, and network-related issues encountered by internal staff and remote clients.

Incident management responsibilities include documenting system alerts, escalating critical network errors to senior engineering staff, and monitoring issues throughout their resolution process.

Responsibilities include supporting the setup and maintenance of workstations, performing cable crimping and patch panel installations, and assisting with the configuration of routers and switches.

Maintain precise records of daily network health reports and IT asset inventories to ensure comprehensive documentation.

What We Are Looking For

Seeking a Primary Place of Assignment (PPA) within IKEA or its immediate surrounding areas while actively serving in the National Youth Service Corps (NYC).

Candidates should hold a degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical/Electronic Engineering, or a closely related technical discipline.
