We are enhancing our site execution team and seeking a skilled Land Surveyor to join us. This position plays a pivotal role in facilitating the successful delivery of road construction projects by providing precise setting-out, maintaining level control, and conducting engineering surveys to ensure all activities adhere to approved drawings and design specifications.
The ideal candidate will establish site control, perform construction layout, measure earthworks, maintain as-built documentation, and continuously verify levels and alignments at active project sites.
The ideal candidate will possess a bachelor’s degree in a relevant field and demonstrate at least three years of professional experience in a comparable role. Proficiency in industry-standard software and tools is essential, along with strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication abilities, both written and verbal, are required to collaborate effectively across teams. The position demands meticulous attention to detail and the capacity to manage multiple projects concurrently while adhering to strict deadlines. Prior experience in a leadership or mentoring capacity is highly advantageous.
A Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) or Higher National Diploma (HND) in Land Surveying, Aromatics, or a closely aligned field is required.
Requires a minimum of five years of practical experience in surveying for road or highway construction projects.
Proficiency in conducting setting-out procedures, overseeing earthworks measurement, and performing construction verification is essential.
Skilled in operating total station, GPS/GNSS, and auto-level instruments with high precision.
Demonstrates a keen aptitude for analyzing engineering drawings and ensuring precise field control implementation.
