Job Summary:
The Blocks Production Officer will provide assistance to the Production Officer in managing the day-to-day operations and manufacturing workflows associated with the production of MSHE building blocks and related machinery. This position entails collaborating on production schedule coordination, conducting quality control oversight, resolving operational challenges, and contributing to the enhancement of production efficiency.
Oversee and execute a range of critical duties, including the management of daily operations to ensure seamless workflow efficiency. Lead and support cross-functional teams to foster collaboration and drive project success, while maintaining high standards of accountability and performance. Develop and implement strategic initiatives to enhance productivity, streamline processes, and optimize resource allocation. Monitor key performance indicators to identify opportunities for improvement and implement corrective actions as needed. Serve as a primary point of contact for stakeholders, ensuring clear communication and alignment with organizational objectives. Additionally, prepare and present comprehensive reports to leadership, summarizing progress, challenges, and strategic recommendations.
Assist the Production Officer in managing the manufacturing team and ensuring comprehensive oversight of every stage of the production process.
Collaborate in the creation and execution of production schedules to fulfill customer requirements while adhering to established project timelines.
Monitor production processes to evaluate current operations, pinpointing areas where workflow efficiency, levels, and product quality can be enhanced.
Contribute to the establishment and execution of quality control procedures and standards to verify that products adhere to required specifications.
Identify and resolve equipment malfunctions while coordinating with maintenance teams to ensure prompt resolution of issues.
Deliver comprehensive training and mentorship to production personnel regarding established operational protocols and stringent safety guidelines.
Evaluate production data and compile comprehensive reports on Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for submission to the Production Officer.
Perform regular inspections of machinery and equipment to identify and report any faults or irregularities without delay.
Partner with cross-functional teams, including Procurement and Supply Chain Management, to align production requirements with resource availability.
Suggest and implement enhancements to existing processes, actively proposing innovative ideas to boost overall operational productivity and effectiveness.
Verify adherence to all relevant safety, environmental, and regulatory standards to ensure full compliance.
We seek a candidate with a bachelor’s degree in a relevant field and at least three years of experience in a similar role. Proficiency in industry-standard software and tools is essential, along with strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and project management abilities are also required.
A bachelor’s degree in manufacturing, industrial engineering, or a related discipline is required.
A minimum of two to three years of hands-on experience in block production and machinery troubleshooting is required.
Exceptional proficiency in problem-solving, analytical reasoning, and strategic decision-making is required.
Strong communication and interpersonal abilities are required to collaborate efficiently with the production team.
Proficiency in lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies is essential.
Demonstrates exceptional capacity to manage multiple responsibilities simultaneously, efficiently prioritize tasks, and maintain high productivity while meeting strict deadlines under demanding conditions.
Proficiency in operating and maintaining machinery is required.
