Rothenberger Financial Group is in search of a sharp, eloquent, and client-focused NYC Intern to fill the position with Front Desk Intern within our Client Experience Team. This role offers a prime opportunity for a corps member to acquire practical experience in client service, front office operations, and corporate communications at a prominent financial services organization. The successful candidate will act as the primary point of contact for clients, guests, and stakeholders, maintaining a polished and hospitable environment while contributing to the provision of outstanding client service.

Job Details

Oversee the front office/reception area and meeting rooms to ensure they consistently maintain a polished, clean, and professional atmosphere at all times.

You will greet and provide assistance to clients, visitors, and guests, creating a welcoming and professional first impression of the organization.

Responsibilities include meticulously documenting visitor entries and exits, as well as managing the issuance of visitor identification tags to ensure precise record-keeping.

Responsible for the receipt, filing, and secure storage of client forms and documents, ensuring compliance with established procedures.

Handle incoming mail and courier packages by promptly receiving, acknowledging, and ensuring their accurate distribution to the appropriate recipients or departments.

Oversee incoming communications directed to the Client Service email channels, ensuring timely and professional responses to all inquiries.

Respond to incoming calls from clients, prospects, and vendors in a courteous and efficient manner to ensure prompt resolution of inquiries.

Facilitate the execution of service standards designed to elevate client satisfaction and strengthen trust in the organization.

Elevate client complaints to the appropriate level when needed and facilitate the resolution process to achieve prompt closure.

Handle product and service inquiries by delivering accurate, pertinent information and ensuring prospects are connected with the appropriate business units.

Requirements

Currently engaged in the National Youth Service Corps (NYC) program and eligible for immediate mobilization, with priority given to Batch A2/B1 2026 candidates.

A minimum of a Second Class Upper Division (2:1) degree in a relevant field is required.

Proven ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.

Effective communication and a customer-focused approach are essential for this role.

Proven expertise in utilizing Microsoft Office applications is required.

A polished and professional appearance, along with a courteous and composed demeanor, is expected.

Accomplished organizational capabilities coupled with meticulous attention to detail are essential.

Skilled at managing multiple tasks concurrently while maintaining high productivity in dynamic and time-sensitive settings.
