Translate intricate engineering schematics, interpret welding annotations, and apply detailed fabrication requirements.
Execute MIG, TIG, and arc welding processes with exceptional accuracy on carbon steel, stainless steel, and various alloys.
Conduct thorough assessments of weld quality to verify compliance with AWS and BS EN standards, ensuring all work adheres to the required specifications.
Prepare heavy metal components by cutting, grinding, and readying them for welding operations.
Experienced professionals will provide guidance and oversight to entry-level welders and apprentices, ensuring their development and adherence to safety protocols.
Oversee the upkeep of welding machinery while ensuring adherence to rigorous safety protocols throughout all operations.
Investigate welding defects thoroughly and provide recommendations for corrective measures to ensure optimal performance and compliance with quality standards.
Requirements:
Earned a Trade Test I Certificate and boast a minimum of three years of demonstrated expertise in welding.
Delivers exceptional results in structural, pipe, or heavy fabrication projects, demonstrating a strong and consistent performance history in these specialized areas.
Certification in MIG, TIG, and ARC welding is essential, while a 6G pipe welding certification is particularly advantageous.
Proficient in interpreting blueprints and executing tasks autonomously with minimal oversight.
Proven ability to lead teams effectively, address challenges proactively, and prioritize safety in all operations is required.
Capable of operating effectively in elevated and restricted environments, demonstrating the necessary physical fitness and agility to meet the demands of such conditions.
