This position ensures excellence in concrete work execution, enhances productivity, and maintains site control for all projects involving culverts, drainage structures, headwalls, aprons, and other reinforced concrete components.
The ideal candidate will oversee concrete crews at the site, responsible for completing all tasks in strict accordance with approved drawings, specifications, and QA/QC standards, encompassing reinforcement, formwork, concrete placement, testing, and curing processes.
Must possess a Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field. At least three years of progressive experience in financial analysis, reporting, or auditing is mandatory, with a preference for candidates holding a CPA or CFA certification. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, QuickBooks, and ERP systems is required. Strong analytical skills and meticulous attention to detail are essential for success in this role. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities are also necessary to collaborate effectively with team members and stakeholders.
We are seeking candidates with an ONC, Technical Certificate, or City & Guilds qualification in Civil or Structural Engineering.
Reputable candidates should possess a minimum of seven years of hands-on experience as a Concrete Foreman, specifically within the realm of civil or road construction projects.
Individuals should possess extensive practical expertise in reinforced concrete construction, including culverts, drainage structures, and structural concrete applications.
Proficiency in formwork installation, reinforcement bar (rebar) fixing, slump testing, cube sampling, and curing methodologies is essential.
Proficient in interpreting structural drawings and overseeing teams of concrete laborers, comprising ten or more workers, on-site.
