We are in search of a visionary and outcome-focused Online Branding Team Lead to spearhead our Social Media Team. Direct, oversee, and guide the Social Media Team in the creation and execution of premium content and strategic campaigns.
Formulate and execute robust social media strategies that are fully aligned with overarching business goals and objectives.
Oversee and uphold the brand’s voice, tone, and consistency across every digital channel to ensure a cohesive and unified presence.
Develop and execute strategic initiatives that expand audience reach, foster deeper engagement, and drive conversions through creative and data-driven campaigns.
Investigate key performance indicators and deliver strategic recommendations aimed at enhancing outcomes through data-driven insights.
Develop and manage content calendars, paid promotional initiatives, influencer partnerships, and community engagement strategies to ensure cohesive brand messaging and audience growth.
To ensure brand relevance, analyze industry trends, track competitor actions, and identify emerging platforms.
Partner with Marketing, Design, Content, and Product teams to maintain consistent and unified brand representation.
Requirements
Minimum of three to five years of hands-on experience in social media management and as an active contributor to online branding strategies for prominent brands such as MTN, UBA, Techno, and Infinite.
A bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification in Marketing, Communications, Business Administration, or a related discipline is required.
Proven ability to enhance brand awareness, foster deeper audience engagement, and drive measurable revenue growth.
Proven ability to lead teams effectively and manage group dynamics with confidence.
Demonstrates expertise in utilizing social media management tools and analytics platforms proficiently.
Proven ability to convey information clearly and effectively through written and spoken communication.
Demonstrates a deep grasp of content strategy, paid advertising techniques, SEO core principles, and emerging digital trends.
Proven capability in analyzing data and leveraging insights to inform strategic business decisions.
A highly organized, proactive professional with a strong focus on achieving measurable results.
Seeking candidates with the following preferred qualifications: a Bachelor’s degree in a related field, at least three years of relevant experience, proficiency in industry-specific software tools, and strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Familiarity with project management methodologies and excellent communication skills are also highly valued. Knowledge of regulatory compliance standards and prior involvement in cross-functional teams are advantageous.
