They will engage in outpatient, inpatient, emergency, and on-call services, and play an active role in advancing the growth and development of CHOC.

Key responsibilities include coordinating cross-functional teams to streamline project execution, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives and timelines. Overseeing the development and implementation of strategic initiatives, the role demands meticulous planning, risk assessment, and performance monitoring. Collaborating with stakeholders at all levels, the position requires strong communication skills to facilitate transparency and accountability. Team leadership, decision-making, and problem-solving under pressure are critical for delivering measurable results.

Provide high-quality, evidence-based patient care that ensures safety and effectiveness in all clinical practices.

Engage in emergency, inpatient, outpatient, and on-call service provision across diverse care settings.

Collaborate effectively with nurses, midwives, doctors, allied health professionals, and management to foster a cohesive and productive team environment.

Provide guidance and direction to junior team members by offering supervision, educational support, and mentorship to foster their professional growth and development.

Play a key role in advancing service development efforts, enhancing quality improvement programs, and strengthening patient safety measures.

Uphold the highest professional standards in communication, documentation, and conduct at all times.

Ensure adherence to CHOC policies, procedures, governance frameworks, and established reporting structures.

Assist in the expansion and enhancement of CHOC’s existing and upcoming facilities.

A Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field is necessary, along with a minimum of three years of hands-on experience in a comparable role. Proficiency in industry-standard software and tools is required, and exceptional problem-solving skills are essential. Strong written and verbal communication abilities are also necessary, along with the capacity to work both autonomously and collaboratively within a team. Additionally, candidates must be able to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines consistently.

MBBS or MB ChB (or an equivalent medical qualification) is required, alongside full medical license. Candidates must possess specialist training and board certification (or equivalent) in Pediatrics, General Surgery, or Anaesthesiology, depending on the position’s requirements.

Hold a postgraduate qualification specializing in a relevant field.

A valid and active professional license is required.

Proven expertise in the relevant specialty is required.
