We seek a Business Intelligence Analyst to transform collections and lending data into actionable, decision-focused insights. In this role, you will oversee the reporting infrastructure that bridges raw data and organizational stakeholders, designing dashboards and analyses that enhance recovery performance across the portfolio. This position demands a practical approach from an individual skilled in both advanced SQL development and the clear communication of executive-level insights through polished dashboards.

The primary duties and responsibilities involve overseeing assigned tasks to ensure efficient completion, collaborating with cross-functional teams to align on project goals, and maintaining clear communication channels to report progress and address any challenges. Key responsibilities include managing deadlines, delegating responsibilities as needed, and adhering to established protocols while identifying opportunities for process improvements. Additionally, the role requires staying updated on industry trends, participating in strategic planning sessions, and contributing to a positive and productive work environment through proactive problem-solving and teamwork.

Design, develop, and sustain robust BigQuery data models and queries to facilitate collections, recovery, and portfolio reporting initiatives.

Design and oversee Tableau dashboards to monitor DPD buckets, roll rates, RPC/PTP performance, recovery rates, campaign effectiveness, and agent or team productivity metrics.

Collaborate closely with collections operations, finance, and executive leadership to develop scalable data solutions that address critical business inquiries.

Develop automated processes to generate recurring reports on a daily, bi-weekly, and monthly basis, significantly minimizing manual reporting tasks.

Investigate anomalies in data integrity, resolve inconsistencies across multiple source systems including dealer, CRM, core banking, and ticketing platforms, and verify that metric definitions remain uniform and reliable.

Track performance indicators against established benchmarks, identify deviations, and analyze the underlying causes of observed patterns rather than simply presenting numerical data.

Provide measurement frameworks and conduct impact analysis to support experiments and initiatives, such as cashback programs, campaign migrations, and channel mix adjustments.

Requirements

Eight or more years of hands-on experience in business intelligence, data analysis, or analytics engineering, preferably within an NBFC, microfinance institution, fintech lending platform, or traditional banking setting.

Demonstrated expertise in SQL, with a focus on Google BigQuery, including proficiency in common table expressions (Cites), window functions, table partitioning, query optimization techniques, and cost-effective execution strategies.

Demonstrates strong proficiency in developing production dashboards using Tableau, including expertise in Level of Detail (LOD) calculations, dynamic calculated fields, interactive parameters, and performance optimization techniques.

A comprehensive grasp of the collections and lending lifecycle is essential, including expertise in DPD buckets, roll rates, recovery and resolution metrics, PTP/RPC processes, write-offs, and portfolio risk assessment.

Strong proficiency in articulating insights and findings to operational teams as well as senior leadership with clarity and precision.

Nice to Haves

Proficient in operating dealer systems, CRM/ticketing platforms, and core banking or loan management systems.

Proficiency in Metabase or alternative Business Intelligence tools, alongside a solid grasp of cloud data warehousing principles, is required.

Professionals in this role will navigate the complexities of multi-market operations, which encompass diverse data environments and intricate workflows. The position demands an ability to manage and analyze data across various markets, requiring adaptability and a keen understanding of operational nuances.

Proficiency in data protection regulations and governance standards within the financial services sector is required.
