We are in search of a seasoned and proficient Consultant Obstetrician & Gynecologist to deliver expert-level care in obstetrics and gynecology, encompassing the diagnosis, treatment, and oversight of conditions impacting women’s reproductive health.
The ideal candidate will deliver exceptional clinical services, mentor junior medical staff, and play a key role in enhancing patient care standards.

Deliver expert consultations and clinical services in obstetrics and gynecology.
Provide comprehensive care for patients throughout the antenatal, antepartum, and postnatal phases of pregnancy.
Examine and manage conditions impacting the female reproductive system, providing specialized care to address related health concerns.
Conducts both planned and urgent obstetric and gynecological procedures and surgeries with precision and expertise.
Perform ward rounds to assess patients and evaluate their treatment plans.
Oversee care for high-risk pregnancies and address obstetric emergencies with expertise and precision, ensuring optimal outcomes for both mother and child.
Interpret diagnostic findings and subsequently suggest suitable therapeutic strategies.
Oversee and guide medical officers, resident physicians, and other healthcare staff, ensuring their professional development and adherence to best practices.
Engage in collaborative, multidisciplinary team meetings and clinical audits to contribute insights, evaluate performance, and ensure adherence to best practices in patient care.
Ensure the precision and completeness of patient records and clinical documentation at all times.
Maintain adherence to established clinical protocols, applicable regulatory mandates, and ethical guidelines.
Engage actively in ongoing medical education, scientific research, and initiatives focused on enhancing quality standards.
A bachelor’s degree in a relevant field, such as education, psychology, or social sciences, is required for this position. Additionally, a teaching certification or equivalent professional credential may be necessary, depending on the specific role and location. Prior to teaching experience or related work in an educational environment is highly preferred. Familiarity with curriculum development, student assessment, and classroom management techniques is essential. Strong communication and interpersonal skills are also critical for success in this role.
A medical degree equivalent to MBBS or MB ChB is required.
Candidates should possess a Fellowship from the National Postgraduate Medical College of Nigeria (NPMCN) or the West African College of Surgeons (WAS) in Obstetrics and Gynecology, or an equivalent credential recognized by relevant authorities.
Holding a current and valid professional license issued by the Medical and Dental Council of Nigeria (MDCN) is required.
