Oversee and execute a range of critical tasks to ensure operational excellence and strategic alignment. Develop and implement comprehensive plans, policies, and procedures tailored to organizational goals while maintaining compliance with industry regulations. Lead cross-functional teams through clear delegation, performance metrics, and collaborative problem-solving to drive efficiency and innovation. Conduct thorough analyses to identify trends, mitigate risks, and optimize resource allocation for sustained growth. Serve as a liaison between senior leadership and frontline staff to facilitate seamless communication and alignment of objectives. Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to evaluate progress, recommend improvements, and report findings with actionable insights. Foster a culture of accountability, continuous learning, and adaptability to meet evolving business demands.
Operate shelling machines by loading raw cashew nuts into the equipment and overseeing the shelling process to ensure optimal performance and efficiency.
Adjust machine configurations, such as speed, pressure, and blade spacing, according to nut dimensions to reduce kernel damage.
Perform thorough quality inspections on shelled kernels to detect breakage, shell residue, or any other defects present.
Troubleshoot minor equipment malfunctions, clear paper or material jams, perform regular cleaning procedures, and notify the maintenance team of any significant faults.
Adhere to all established safety protocols and utilize the necessary personal protective equipment, such as gloves, protective eyewear, and hearing safeguards.
Achieve daily production goals while ensuring minimal kernel breakage rates.
Maintain precise documentation of machine operational hours, production yields, periods of inactivity, and maintenance interventions.
Seeking a highly motivated professional with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience, a strong background in project management, and proficiency in industry-standard software tools. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and demonstrate a keen ability to lead cross-functional teams. Additionally, a deep understanding of current industry trends and regulatory requirements is essential. Responsibilities include overseeing project timelines, managing budgets, ensuring compliance, and driving strategic initiatives to achieve organizational objectives.
A minimum of two years of hands-on experience operating shelling machines or comparable production equipment within a manufacturing setting is required.
Proficient in overseeing and fine-tuning machine configurations to optimize manufacturing output.
Demonstrates meticulous attention to detail and a steadfast commitment to maintaining high-quality standards in all responsibilities.
Proficient in performing essential troubleshooting tasks and conducting routine machine maintenance.
Possesses a solid grasp of occupational health and safety regulations and best practices.
Willingness to work in More-Ibafo, Gun State is a requirement.
The compensation for this position ranges from $120,000 to $150,000 annually.
