Responsibilities include securely conveying individuals to and from meetings, appointments, business engagements, site visits, airports, events, and other designated official or personal destinations.
Guarantee on-time collection and delivery by optimizing travel routes for maximum efficiency.
Deliver consistently smooth, secure, and pleasant transportation services at every moment.
Maintain flexibility to accommodate varying schedules, such as early mornings, evenings, weekends, and occasional out-of-city travel.
Provide support with the transportation of luggage, work materials, or personal belongings as needed.
Remain prepared to accommodate immediate or unplanned travel arrangements promptly.
Immediately notify the appropriate personnel of any mechanical malfunctions, identified damages, or necessary maintenance actions.
Maintain the validity and currency of all vehicle licenses, insurance policies, permits, and related documentation to ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
Project an unwavering professional demeanor and consistently demonstrate courteous conduct in every interaction.
Maintain the availability of all emergency and safety equipment within the vehicle at all times.
Maintain accurate documentation of fuel purchases, toll fees, maintenance expenditures, and service schedules.
Provide support for the transportation or retrieval of sensitive documents and parcels as directed.
Ensure the vehicle(s) are consistently kept in a clean, polished, and fully roadworthy state at all times.
Daily, perform comprehensive vehicle inspections to assess engine oil levels, brake system functionality, tire condition, fuel levels, lighting systems, battery status, cooling system performance, and other critical components.
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience; proven proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, or C++; minimum of 3 years of experience in software development or a closely related role; strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail; exceptional communication skills to collaborate effectively in a team environment; experience with cloud platforms, such as AWS or Azure, is highly desirable; familiarity with DevOps practices, including CI/CD pipelines and containerization using Docker, is a plus.
Candidates must possess a bachelor’s degree or higher in a relevant field from an accredited institution. Equivalent work experience may be considered in lieu of formal education, subject to approval.
A Senior Secondary School Certificate (SSC) or its equivalent is required.
Vocational or driving-related certifications beyond the required qualifications would be considered a valuable asset.
Requirement
Possession of a valid Nigerian driver’s license is required.
Must have residency within the vicinity of Pagoda, Lagos.
Proven expertise in navigating Lagos roads and key routes throughout Nigeria.
Possesses comprehensive expertise in vehicle upkeep and repair.
Proficiency in traffic laws and road safety regulations is essential.
Requires a minimum of three to five years of demonstrated driving experience within a corporate setting.
Maintains an impeccable driving record, free from any major traffic infractions or violations.
The position requires availability from Monday through Friday, along with working two Saturdays each month. Sunday work is considered overtime.
The work schedule is from 8:30 AM to 7:00 PM, inclusive, providing full coverage of operational hours.
