The Internal Control Unit is actively recruiting an Internal Control Officer to enhance the effectiveness of the internal control framework throughout the organization.

The position will involve examining financial transactions, procurement actions, reconciliations, and additional operational procedures in alignment with the COST framework to uphold operational efficiency, regulatory adherence, and risk reduction.

What You Will Do

Responsible for overseeing controls related to loan approvals, interest computations, reconciliations, journal entries, and ledger postings.

Daily, conduct thorough examinations of operational transactions encompassing account openings, loans, payments, deposits, and expenses.

Conduct a thorough audit of all commission and incentive calculations to ensure accuracy and alignment with established policies.

Monitor control exceptions and ensure follow-up actions are completed by engaging with process owners across diverse business areas.

Ensure adherence to internal policies and applicable regulatory standards.

Seeking a highly motivated professional with a minimum of five years of experience in a related field, preferably holding a degree in a relevant discipline. The ideal candidate must demonstrate exceptional analytical skills, proficiency in industry-specific software, and a proven track record of delivering results under tight deadlines.
