Job Summary

We invite driven and energetic NYC Corps Members to become part of our Sales and Marketing team in the capacity of Sales Representatives.

The ideal candidates will drive promotion and marketing initiatives for the company’s products, cultivate a steady pipeline of leads, and contribute to expanding overall sales performance.

Oversee a comprehensive range of duties aligned with the role’s strategic objectives, ensuring operational efficiency and compliance with established standards. Facilitate collaborative efforts across departments to drive project success and meet organizational goals. Develop, implement, and monitor policies, procedures, and performance metrics to enhance productivity and accountability. Lead and mentor teams to foster professional growth, maintain high morale, and achieve departmental targets. Prepare and present regular reports to stakeholders, outlining progress, challenges, and proposed solutions. Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements, industry best practices, and ethical guidelines in all business activities.

Engage in strategic outreach initiatives to effectively showcase and endorse the company’s product offerings to potential clients and target audiences.

Proactively seek out and engage prospective clients to cultivate new business prospects and foster sales opportunities.

Provide customers with detailed information about product features, advantages, and pricing structures to enhance their understanding and decision-making.

Develop and nurture strong customer relationships to foster ongoing business opportunities and ensure client retention.

Exceed predetermined sales targets and performance benchmarks consistently.

Gather and analyze insights regarding customer preferences, industry developments, and competitor strategies to offer informed recommendations.

Collaborate on the planning and execution of promotional initiatives, marketing campaigns, and field-based activities to drive brand awareness and engagement.

Diligently document and communicate daily sales transactions and outcomes.

Must possess a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in software development, with a focus on backend systems. Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, or C++ is essential. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently are required. Experience with cloud platforms like AWS or Azure is highly desirable. Excellent communication skills for collaborating with cross-functional teams are a must. Knowledge of databases, APIs, and system architecture is beneficial.

Must currently be serving as a member of the National Youth Service Corps (NYC).

Exceptional verbal and written communication abilities, along with a proven aptitude for fostering collaborative professional relationships, are essential.

Demonstrates enthusiasm for continuous learning and thrives in environments focused on achieving set targets.

Capable of operating autonomously as well as collaborating effectively within a team environment.

Proficiency in sales, marketing, or customer service is considered beneficial.

Maintaining a positive attitude, demonstrating strong discipline, and upholding a solid work ethic are essential qualities for this role.
