As a CCA (Cultural and Creative Arts or Co-Curricular Activities) educator, your role encompasses delivering dynamic lessons in visual arts, music, drama, and cultural heritage, or overseeing extracurricular clubs. You will foster an environment that encourages self-expression, hone students’ artistic competencies, and equip them for exhibitions and performances.
Duties include overseeing project timelines, managing team coordination, and ensuring deliverables meet quality standards. The role demands meticulous attention to deadlines, clear communication with stakeholders, and adherence to budget constraints. Additionally, the position requires analyzing performance metrics, identifying process improvements, and maintaining compliance with company policies and industry regulations. Strong leadership skills are essential to guide cross-functional teams toward achieving organizational goals efficiently.
Plan and deliver comprehensive CCA lessons that align with Nigerian, British, or American curricula to ensure a high-quality educational experience for students.
Introduce students to diverse creative fields, such as painting, music appreciation, drama, and traditional crafts, to foster skill development.
Event Management: Plan and execute school plays, cultural days, art exhibitions, and performances with precision and creativity.
Evaluate student progress systematically, uphold accurate academic records, and ensure students are adequately prepared for both internal and external examinations, including the Basic Education Certificate Examination (BEE) and the West African Examinations Council (WAEC) assessments.
Supervise a variety of after-school clubs, societies, and organized outings to foster well-rounded student development and engagement beyond the classroom.
