Job Summary

The Medical Officer is tasked with delivering essential healthcare services, overseeing the wellbeing clinic, and upholding occupational health and safety regulations.

This position advances the organization’s health goals by providing preventive care services, conducting medical consultations, and responding to emergencies.

The role encompasses a comprehensive set of duties and responsibilities that demand a high level of expertise and commitment. You will be tasked with overseeing critical operations, ensuring adherence to established protocols, and maintaining rigorous quality standards across all processes. Collaboration with cross-functional teams will be essential to achieve project milestones and deliverables, while also identifying opportunities for process improvements. Additionally, you will be responsible for analyzing performance metrics, preparing detailed reports, and presenting strategic recommendations to senior leadership to drive informed decision-making. The position requires meticulous attention to detail, strong analytical abilities, and the capacity to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.

Perform comprehensive medical evaluations and examinations of patients to assess their health status and identify any potential medical concerns.

Diagnose and manage a wide range of medical conditions, injuries, and illnesses through comprehensive patient evaluations and evidence-based treatment strategies.

Design and execute customized treatment plans tailored to individual patient needs.

Administer medications as prescribed and assess patient responses to treatment regimens, ensuring optimal therapeutic outcomes and safety.

Execute necessary medical and surgical interventions as needed.

Educate patients and their families regarding medical conditions and available treatments, ensuring clear comprehension and informed decision-making.

Ensure all patient medical records are meticulously maintained and consistently kept current.

Work collaboratively with diverse healthcare teams to facilitate comprehensive patient care coordination.

Remain up-to-date with the latest advancements in medical care and treatment protocols.

Deliver initial medical care and address surgical emergencies as needed.

Proficiently utilize point-of-care diagnostic tools, including STAT devices and ECG machines.

Foster a collaborative, team-oriented strategy for managing intricate cases to ensure comprehensive, high-quality care.

Compose thorough medical documentation, including detailed reports and discharge summaries.

Provide essential medical care to patients in need.

Provide care and support at assigned wellness clinics as scheduled.

Ensure strict compliance with established medical protocols, industry standards, and regulatory requirements at all times.

Execute additional duties as assigned by the team lead and the Medical Director.

Seeking a highly motivated individual to fill this role, with a proven ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining meticulous attention to detail. The ideal candidate must possess strong communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively collaborate with team members and stakeholders. Proficiency in relevant software and tools is essential, along with the capacity to analyze complex data and generate actionable insights. A minimum of three years of experience in a similar position is required, and the ability to work under tight deadlines without compromising quality is highly valued. Additionally, familiarity with industry-specific regulations and best practices is necessary to ensure compliance and operational excellence.

Earned a Medical Degree (MBBS or equivalent) from a recognized, accredited academic institution.

Completion of the National Youth Service Corps (NYC) program is a prerequisite for this position.

Seasoned professionals with a minimum of five to seven years of hands-on clinical practice are sought for this role. Candidates must demonstrate a proven track record in delivering exceptional patient care within a clinical setting, ensuring adherence to best practices and protocols.

Holds a current and unrestricted medical license to practice.

Clinical proficiency and diagnostic expertise are essential for this role.

Proficient in advanced life support techniques is required.

Proficient in computer applications and systems, with strong written and verbal communication skills, along with exceptional interpersonal capabilities.
